https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umoqd0VbRI4 This sure brings back good information and even if she's gone insane, I won't neglect the art. I am so fascinated by her production style and the muse she uses. I love how she describes her music too Geidi Primes = Cyber Twee, Scifi, MySpace Halfaxa = Lofi ethereal hardcore I'd describe it as just intense, not hardcore Darkbloom = the project she forgets about. which I hate bc I fucking love this EP Visions = Psychedelic Scifi Twee Art Angels = Orchestral Emo Production. personally I think E-girl / E-boy fits more than Emo Miss Anthropocene = "My best album", Ethereal Heavy, 'video-game' inspired, horror and beauty, "an incredible feat of human ingenuity but a devestating act to pursue".

I've been listening to her discography back to back and I actually am appreciating K-12 a lot more now. I like that it's different. It's refreshing. I am imagining listening to her albums back to back if K-12 had more production like CB, and I can see myself getting bored too quick. The only thing I still wish was different was more depth in the K-12 lyrics for half the songs.

I know right but its lowkey one of my favourites. I am such a sucker for the ambiguous lower face of women in album art. Idk why.
  4. I admit I have not caught up with AA in YEARS but your post prompted me to and now I have 2 albums to absorb and so far I've loved EVERYTHING even more than I liked them before so thanks haha I might be one of the few that actually relish in the new sound a metal band comes through with. Im so so glad you're in recovery!. I've gotten a whole bunch of BMTH and The Birthday Massacre merch lately. I almost own all of it I am so happy spending my money on stuff like this that really has meaning to me, because I wear it to feel good about my passions and taste, not to impress anyone else, and it reminds me of how music shapes who I am
  5. Aka: early summer - morning BTD: summer - midday and night PD: late summer - evening and night UV: late autumn and winter - evening HM: Spring - morning and evening LFL: Spring - midday NFR: Autumn - afternoon I'm not sure why I think about time of day like this. It might be the boldness vs. mellowness of the album. Besides NFR, all of mine fit in order which was not on purpose but I really like it! Around- about now is the transition from Paradise to UV I guess
  6. The whole song, fixed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OE14pDaiGBY
  7. Not that I'm aware of I'd do one myself but I don't like any of her old acoustic work
  8. Since Im on a halsey unreleased spree today, here's some gold finds:
  9. Why have I not heard this??? Edit: just found out it's an old demo/outtake. I didn't think it sounded old! i thought it fit perfectly with the Manic era.

WOMB <3 <3 <3 I love every song, and Stardew as the album closer makes me want to cryyyyy I think I love the consistency of this album the most but can't decide which is my favourite out of Womb and Another Eternity yet. it might just depend on whether I want to feel nice while playing animal crossing or dance in the dark..
  11. Guess it's one of those days where I feel so bored that I listen to this whole album without skips. It's sort of funny listening to it during this pandemic, like I feel like I'm really TRYING to be fake-woke buuut it is cute
  12. oh right! actually use the shovel not the axe.. i didnt get that! thank you!
  13. omg what :'D that sounds hilarious but ill try it thank you <3
  14. I'm new to animal crossing, and I'm still trying to get 30 fucking iron nuggets for the damn shop. Is this the resource that takes everyone the longest to get or is it just me??
  15. I just assumed it was something broader like an unspoken loss that everyone in the world is feeling but it probably ain't that deep
  16. I am obsessed with this lmao
  17. I really have not given a shit about much of Marvel since End Game. I am really waiting for Guardians 3 but who the f knows how long that's gonna be. I'd still of course watch Black Widow when it's out on the Microsoft store tho
  18. Yeah I did watch that. The only thing I've ever agreed with him on. Funny part is I bet it's all his own supporters. I saw some hilarious remix of him saying "stop it. UN-Australian". But I'll post it in the covid humour thread
  19. Looks like we are indeed heading in that direction. QLD seems like the last state to take it seriously enough -_- but we will have to follow on. I just think Australia is filled with the dumbest people in the 25-50 age group. They seem to be all the panic-buyers and the ones ignoring social distancing n goin out because they are so damn privileged that they won't stop to think for 1 second about what part they are playing in the spread. The government has to get this under control with laws, not guidelines and suggestions.
  20. This is sounding more accurate than ever now.... S/O to Rorman who showed me this a while ago
  21. I am the least impacted out of my family but I swear I feel far more anxious than them and anyone else I know in person. I am working from home as of next week, which is good so I don't have to be on public transport 3 x a day. But my University hasn't even shut for staff yet. I feel weird for doing this earlier than everyone else. Most of my colleagues are still working normally on campus. I guess it's my family's situations that are making me more cautious, because they are all in a situation that is heavily affected by the virus, with vulnerable clients. I am worried that working at home for weeks, and possibly months in a row, will change me so much that when I get back to work I will feel like I don't belong anymore. But honestly I should just shut up because I'm not financially impacted at all and many people are actually losing their jobs or are completely unemployed.
