The release of this along with Big Eyes/I Can Fly was the most glorious cinematic mini-era. I would relive that forever if I could.

I was just getting into her too.... When she posted about breaking up with Titanic and that her relationship with him was also manipulated, I jumped at the chance to 'morally' listen to her again. Unfortunately I ignored the other signs of her being a narcissistic manipulator too. I need to get rid of her from my Spotify playlists and illegally download her music so I can still listen without supporting her directly. I mean, that's the least I can do right?

Miss Anthropocene > Visions > Halfaxa > Art Angels > Geidi primes. This album is amazing and I can't get over it. It's exactly what I needed. And the thing is, I'm still not over the singles, which usually happens to me when an album is released and I've overplayed the singles too much.

Everything after Honeymoon has really just felt like a phase. For example, if I want to listen to 'Lana Del Rey', with all of the inspiration and strong musical moments she has given me I will choose anything from BTD to Honeymoon. I only listen to LFL when I feel like a "I want to escape" 2017 throwback, and only listen to NFR if I want to feel chill/content or just not feel at all

I hated the honeymoon cover when it was first posted on her insta. I remember thinking "are you kidding?, Can it be something else?" But it grew on me HARD. I'd say it's my favourite now too.

They did on Poppy's album and she tried really hard to stop it being released but it was too late.

Love everything except IDORU which is also just too long haha, but the Algorithm mix is nice. I even love Delete Forever now. WAP after IDORU is the strangest switch up but it's straight up my favourite album from her

Just found out more from a BMTH interview. So they definitely collabed first to do Experiment on Me, which I didn't actually know, and the July 2019 video on Halseys insta of her recording and saying "was it too much?" Or something was for that. I think the alternative lyrics and "15 minutes to record" is talking about the collab on their album tho. "The guest cast is enormously diverse. How did Halsey come into the picture? We did a session for her last year. We wrote her some music for a movie she was doing. Just a couple of sessions. She really wanted to do some rock, and we just wrote with her for a bit. That was one of the first things we did, just to try things out. We wrote it, talked about releasing it, and she came up with these alternative lyrics. We wrote them down, and it took her about 15 minutes to record it. It was one of the things that just sat there, but we always thought it was cool."
