Also - not sure if anyone else has said this, but does anyone think that instead of 'I'm rising up, rising up', it's actually 'I'm writhing, I'm rising up'? That's what it sounds like to me after seeing the HD sampler...

The word that always pops into my head when I think of what I'd like from future LDR music is 'muscular'. Like, a little more backbone, a bit more assertive, possibly even angry, sarcastic or ironic. Or even just more playful and wry? I adore all of her albums and unreleased, but we all know she can be a bit more sassy and confrontational when she chooses to be. Following HM with a harder-hitting sound would be such a good move IMO, and give her more material for festivals (at the very least).

That depends because we don't know how much of the sound came from Lana vs the weeknd. I'm guessing it won't be similar to LDR5. It should at least tell us what her direction is lyrically I hope
 
Now you made me realize she didn't make any solo project songs (for like movies n stuff) in between HM and LDR5. So here's to LDR5 being more of a surprise compared to her previous albums

Idk bout you guys but I thought "in the fire we're born again, peace by vengeance brings the end" was as iconic as the other lyrics you guys are talking about
