Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread

That would make sense. Plus Once Upon A Dream could create a nice buzz for the single, if it is sent to radios and does well. (I have no idea about that though, but one can hope, we must hear it first) -

Whether it is actually finished already or not is not as important as we know that Lana is very far along with it so it would be done in about a month at the most anyway...the question is, will they hold it off before and even release the lead single early spring or they just put it out as soon as possible (probably not). -
Lolita Vs Come When You Call Me America

It looks like Gypsy is going to be the third single. (Not confirmed yet but probable) Would you be here for it? I think it would be cool because I can see it being successful and it's really time for her to do well, like a top 5 hit would be nice for a change

But she didn't drink since she was like 18 or something....

Yes Do you own something which carries the DNA of an old flame? (like hair, eyelashes)

When the Paradise tour was still going strong (and that was a while ago) Rob and Chuck said that Lana is progressing very well with the new album. So yeah, she must have finished plenty of songs already, if not all. But maybe her team will arrange a promotional campaign now too... -
I''m so surprised Lana is attending! Can't wait to see what she wears, and PLEASE, spill that info about Ultraviolence on the red carpet when they interview you! (They will probably ask her about Once Upon a Dream tho) But..it could be both

This is how it's gonna be: On the 26th, AFTER the Grammys are over, the song will be released on iTunes. (don't know if that's a good idea since everybody is going to be occupied with talking about Madonna's and Katy's performances and freak out about who won what but whatever) On the 4th, we get the the whole movie soundtrack album. On May 30th, the movie premieres and Lana will attend the premiere looking flawless as usual (if she isn't on the Ultraviolence tour by then, who knows )
-
Yes we will obv. It will be a single they want it to do well (Of course the real deal would be if Lana actually showed up and premiered it at the Grammies, but I guess she is too shy or something...) Can't wait for the instrumental of the song, because they turned Blue Velvet into something great on another level, so they will do it now too. It's gonna be dark and amazing, can't wait!!

OMG when people mention her songs and I don't know them only their singles, and I would like to start and just go through her albums as I'm sure they are great but she has so much music it's too overwhelming to even begin Unapologetic is her only album I listened to in full, but I was happy about that because that way I found "No love allowed" which wasn't released as a single, but it's a legit great song

Apparently, she is putting out 2 albums this year. There was some talk about it a few weeks ago
-
He could get all the Daddy love from Letterman, OMG can you imagine? That interview would be amazing!
-
Well dah, that just shows Lana doesn't care about success that much. I mean, she hardly promoted Ride, and didn't have too many Tv appearances. I hope Interscope will push her like crazy and put her on all those talk shows as part of the promotion campaign for Ultraviolencen she could go to Ellen, Conan O'Bryan show, Alan Carr, etc...but anyway, back then she didn't have radio support but now she does, so I'm sure the next era will be totally different.

It would have been pretty cool if she sang Cola as much too...then we would have an actual good quality version where the crowd isn't singing like crazy, plus then it would have been performed at the iTunes festival and we would even have professional recordings about it. Can you imagine?
