  1. That was her plan all along - now everybody will appreciate Coachella - Woodstock On My Mind more!

I listened through the album yesterday and sadly I only liked 3 songs Hopefully things will hit more in HQ, I will give her one more chance on release day.
  3. That's cute. I was thinking that another connection is Fordham Road & Paris Texas, they are both about leaving a place behind.
  4. She is trying to impress David Lynch so he finally collabs with her on a tropico-length art film.
  5. I think she will do candy necklace, the title track and the grants. A lot of these songs wouldn't translate well live, like Kintsugi, Fingertips, Paris Texas, Peppers. And Jack won't follow her around so they can do Margaret. Hopefully she will add some songs from blue banisters to her setlist, like nectar of the gods or thunder.
  6. On one hand, I am sure she was an absolutely horrible mother (most teachers are because they relate to children in a different way), on the other hand, I'd love to hear her side of the story.

Doing the first listen now. Spider Web is interesting enough, but I need to sit more with this album. She is a very strange woman to come up with music like this.
  8. We need a solo version, that guy is NOT a singer
  9. It's literally everything. How does she come up with stuff like this?
  10. I saw someone mentione that this song is her response to the criticism she received over her (completely fair) question for the culture instagram post. And I can sort of see that, but what does her grandfather & connection with god have to do with that? Can someone connect the dots?
  11. This & Grandfather are above everything else on the album by a huge margin. It's just...wow. More of this please.
  12. Way to blame a woman for a man's mistakes This literally does not matter and you are just making something out of nothing for what reason exactly? Being dramatic on here?
  13. Well even in her case you just know she does it for attention-grabbing and to have something unique about her, not because it is an authentic expression of her art. At least Lana doesn't fall into that trap.
  14. Does anyone else feel like she is being guarded about the critical reception of this one? Pointing out multiple times that the critic reaction shouldn't matter. Since this album is really about her thought process and family she probably doesn't want to let the opinions of others about it hurt her - but you can tell she wants it to be a piece of work that will be understood.
