I know. Have you bought Season 2? Really wanna buy it, but it's so expensive. I think I'm gonna wait for it to drop a bit and then perhaps get it.

Overall rating: ★★★★★ First impression: Hands down the best song on the album. I remember listening through the entire album the day 'Born to Die' got released and this song just stood out. My first favorite song by her! Impression now: Flawless. iTunes plays: Because I'm always deleting/importing/replacing Lana songs to keep up with the absolute freshest material this is so irrelevant in my case. But right now it's 31. Songs I play along with it: I really like to play this fanmade instrumental version of this song. Doesn't matter which one I play first, but if I play the original before listening to the instrumental version I just end up having a karaoke festival wherever I am because the song gets so beautiful when I hear the backing track tunes only and I'm like What I like about it: It's so out of her normal element~ What I dislike about it: I wish she would've tried doing songs like these a lot more. Memories I associate with this song: January 2012: Riding back and forth to school with this in my earphones. Lip syncing every lyric. Colors/images that come to mind: Las Vegas. Flames. String orchestra. Purple. K. Stripper Pole. Scarlet(t) Favorite lyrics: This song has a recurring lyric theme as I like to call it. Let's analyze: I really love this lyric transition in the song: She does this on "National Anthem" as well: Interpretation: [Plays "02 Off to the Races.mp3" and writes down whatever I'm thinking throughout the song] Her ol' man doesn't mind her past. He loves her. (Has this "Put Me In a Movie" feeling to it in a daddy kinda way now that I think about it). He takes care of her. She feels safe with him. He admire her flaws and accepts her for who she is. Lizzy <3 K <3 Coney Island. K is a thief (and she's gonna stay and pray with him 'til the end~ (as in his death sentence? oh my god major epiphany)). But she trusts him, the decision of the lord to watch over him. (Note: "Dear lord when I get to heaven / Please let me bring my man" from "Young and Beautiful"... So not only does she wanna bring Barrie with her. She also has K waiting for her in heaven. Awks.)

Confusing casual Lana fans who believes she's born 1986. Love it.

I'm starting to think that people are becoming more and more aware of its value ever since that last auction.

I came across a comment today by someone I presume being a relative by Barrie (most likely her sister) saying he left Kassidy a long time ago already: He obviously did because he wanted to settle down with Lizzy. I just... Even though Kassidy is still up and going it just sucks knowing this, since Kassidy was the boy band I never had that I finally got. Ugh. This is so heartbreaking

I was really into it. Bought the Season Pass that included 'Burial at Sea' as well so I could continue the journey underwater. Can we just take a moment and appreciate the stunning setting it has: I was sold just looking at this image. It's like taken straight from a movie. Can't wait to begin with it!

BUMP. He's currently publishing future drafts of upcoming projects I'm guessing. Just what I needed Sounds like outtakes from 'Paracosm' and 'Within and Without':

I thought I finally had it organized, but last night I couldn't stand it. 'Demos' currently include instrumentals and a few mixes in separate discs. Judge_me_and_i_kill_you.gif. Not a major difference from last time, but as for now:

Reminds me of something I saw on Tumblr the other day:

Adore that song. Have you seen the video? MS MR - Fantasy

How about creating a subforum in "Lana Thoughts"? There are approximately over +200 songs (not including songs yet to be announced and released, oh dear lord), and that alone is like 4 years of discussing one song every week. I think it's safe to say that it's gonna stick around for a while. On one hand it seems rather practical to keep it all within the same thread, but it feels like it's gonna end up becoming a nightmare if you wanna read something specific about a particular song. Don't forget to tag each thread title with the name in case it happens! Just a suggestion Basically as @@Stoop Kid said, either case is fine really. Make this happen!

"On Our Way" is one of those songs that I sit back, play and just listen to despite whatever mood I'm in. It grows on me every single time I listen to it... (Dare I say it's one of her more underrated songs?) The guitar chords are so soothing and relaxing. The discrete drums and outro piano as well for that matter, but what I like the most is her experimental voice pitch changing throughout the song (most notable at ~1:25 "Take me to the K-Mart", ~1:32 "How? You get so hot?" and ~1:38 "You're making me crazy".) I also really like to lip sync the "Spin me round kiss me in your Chevrolet"- part because it's such a Lizzy G. thing to say Mine is tagged 2010 with the producer Justin Parker. I have two versions of it; one being the final version of it I presume and one acoustic demo. Correct me if I'm wrong!
