Rest in Power, Dear SOPHIE. You are a trailblazer with a vision ahead of our time. I believe her best was still ahead. We were merely getting started for a new dawn of music with her leading the forefront. She is a genius. My heart aches. We're missing an angel today.

"American Standards & Classics" Cover Album - Pre-Pre-Release Thread
Miss Honeydew replied to Elle's topic in New Releases
I am glad we have gotten a concrete *pre-order release date for COCC in January. My guess is that the vinyl production was completed more swiftly than expected-- so she got the get-go to release the pre-order/teaser. Thus, halting her plans to release the cover album because COCC's delays were resolved. So now this cover album is in the air because COCC is priority. Then we still got to hear about Behind the Iron Gates which was first scheduled to make an appearance in March but my guess/prediction is that she'll postpone that to this time next year for COCC to shine. This cover album, while I am/was looking forward to it, seems like another goal of Miss Lana's (like the unreleased album), which I am sure will surface/release one day but not just yet while she's still on a creative high with her own visions. -

Insights into HBTB, MAC & The Greatest production process
Miss Honeydew replied to Dominikx4's topic in Lana Thoughts
As someone who is interested in music production, this is an absolutely fascinating read. Especially for Honeymoon! (which is my fav lol) I absolutely would not have guessed that she recorded the entirety of HM with some random ''trash'' microphone from Rick's closet?!! And the fact that she was completely in on every single process of the album just confirms how personal this album must be. Hence she doesn't acknowledge/sing it? But wow i gtg listen to Honeymoon again with these new facts in mind. Thank you so much for sharing!!- 22 replies

Is COCC coming out on September 5th?
Miss Honeydew replied to Rorman Nockwell's topic in Lana Thoughts
No, I don't think it will unfortunately. But I do think it'll be out within 2020. Of course I do hope it will but it's been too quiet. She did speak of a surprise release so who really knows? I'm ready to be clowned with a big COCC on Friday if that's the case! -
I've been eagerly following what Miss Lana has been cooking up and might I just say that COCC has me more excited than I was for NFR. Not just the damn acronym being actual COCC (absolute legend) but the fact that she has been slowly reverting to an image of hers more carved out like the past (pre-LFL). With a few to mention: her Familyheirlooms tiktok name, Bel Air, her nails and lashes, the old pictures/movie clip, the allusion to 'luxury' in country clubs, and the insta post defending her past lyrical exploration. Now I might be a complete clown drawing up these conclusions, and trying to cling onto that something that's well in the past.. But I feel that she does this aesthetic so well. It's the reason I was pulled to her in the first place. Her enigmatic glamorous escapades through a 50s/60s cinematic scope. A visionary of her time (yep I said that ) I will be one of those people with dangerous hope that this record will come out in September, and that she won't release many snippets like NFR. (maybe just a few very close to release). And I'll say, I'm thriving with yall saying that this pre-release looks like HM because if it's anything like it i'm

Lana cancels EU/UK Leg of the Norman Fucking Rockwell Tour
Miss Honeydew replied to Elle's topic in Latest News
I had two tickets to see her tomorrow. Would've been my first time seeing her/live since stanning since late 2012. It's so sad but these things unfortunately happen. My heart goes out to everyone who was going to see her this leg. Especially the people who are flying + got hotels. I hope you can still sight see etc. And let's hope we can all see Lana at a concert some time again when we are able to (and if she does concerts). <3 but hope this a dangerous thing right Miss Lana? -
Ring, Rare, Lose You To Love Me and Let Me Get Me on repeat today

Seeing these pics take me tf back from when she emerged like the Queen of NYC she was!! Now she's only ever in SoCal.. At least she's out here soaking up some sun before the rest of the tour -
Norman Fucking Rockwell - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Miss Honeydew replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
My late thoughts on NFR- My holy trinity is California, Bartender and Norman (title track). Can't stop replaying these! I love The Greatest, MAC, Venice, Fuck It, Doin Time (WOW what an MV!), and Hope. HIAB is cute and has a stunning pre-chorus. Cinnamon and Love song are cute too but I haven't formed a connection to these (yet). I don't like TNBAR as much as the original version. I loved the sarcasm and sass in the original. How To Disappear is the only disappointment tbh. I stan the Apple live version so much it's on my top 10. But I can't get with this cheap xmas version. Just a piano and guitar would've made the lyrics shine so much more. Overall, this album is stunning and was worth the wait! We were well fed
