I won't lie, I was listening to it last night again and I was thinking 'wow..I think even fucking Selena Gomez could sing this" and that's worrying cause that girl can't sing for shit so...
I just wish Lana used her vocal ability more because unlike some other modern pop artists, she can sing.

Where are people getting "generic" from pls? This song is so not generic, it's very much a Lana song, you listen to it and KNOW it's Lana, it's not generic at all just because it has potential to chart well?? Like pls tell me how many 'generic' songs have 60's "shawop shawop" vocals... this is 100% identifiable as a Lana song, it's cinematic, retro, nostalgic and romantic... yeah, it's got radio appeal but it is most certainly not "generic"

I feel way more relaxed and super positive towards the coming album.
It's not my ultimate favorite song and I really don't need Abel's vocals there but overall I love it!

She is talking about Love (the song): "I was just feeling like I wanted a song that made me feel a little more positive when I sang it. And there’s an album that’s gonna come out in the spring called Lust for Life."
It sounds to me that Love has little in common with LFL, maybe it was just a buzz single with a video.

As long as she does intriguing videos and beautiful music that make you feel something different and not
something like "Oh I want to shake my ass" (nothing against it but mainstream music is talking only about body parts lately and it's like a biology class but a lot more sexual). And I like how Lana sings about love as the form of peace and not the casual cliché way. There are thousands of songs about love but Lana's stands out cause of the meaning and the music video. I think that with this album she will attract more fans no matter how old she is.
