Like I've mentioned before, she has recorded over 200 songs, hardly a waste if you ask me. She has used her talent well considering she's still young.  
Beyoncé is a different person from Lana, you have to remember that. Yeah, Beyoncé does shit ton to promote herself but it doesn't mean Lana has to do the same, let the girl do what she wants whichever way she feels best. I think at the height of her career during BTD she was pretty depressed because of all the attention so it's understandable if that has put her off from promoting herself today,

Personally, I love that Lana is fostering a small but fiercely loyal fanbase. The Lana I fell in love with - the girl in the Ride video, the inscrutable and enigmatic Lana of Born to Die - is not a 'Top 40' artist, who plays stupid games with Jimmy Fallon and pimps herself out of her comfort zone for a cheque. She's private, and sincere, and complex. I love that she is somewhat under the radar, that she seems to have found comfort in directly addressing us via social media, that she's crafting not only her art, but the way she communicates with the world, on her terms. 
Tbh I like where she is at the moment. I admire her resistance to the things that are apparently how one is 'meant' to be a pop star these days. She has integrity. And she appears pretty happy with her choices.

How can any of us forget shes signed to a major label when you say it on here 600 times a day.

Interviews? I mean, that would be great but even Lana said so herself that giving interviews is depressing so....
 
I think the main problem is that some fans are absolutely fixated on her sales/promo. Just let it go.

She was so depressed during the btd era, after the snl performance and the awkward interviews it's really not surprising she's not up to that anymore... and think about how exhausting it is to do a world tour. She's just an introvert who wants a normal life imo.
