I'd love something like "The Lizzy Grant Archives, vol. 1", with more to follow. Releasing the leaks would mean the end of those mutilated and pitched youtube bootlegs (they'd be replaced by good bootlegs, lol) and the possibility of seeing her perform some older stuff live. The argument for better producing (but not necessarily radically changing) is archiving as well as future commercial viability. There is no such thing as old music. People are born every day that know neither LDR nor Bach.

lol she should just come out with 5 albums this year. 1 of them for her new material. 4 of them for unreleased songs because that is just common sense right..

On Twitter, rapper Angel Haze just announced that she recorded a verse for a "Blue Velvet" remix, but her label didn't like it. According to her, it will remain unreleased.

I have a really good feeling about this. I think it would be amazing if Y & B won for an Oscar and golden globe it would be so perfect and imo I do feel like young and beautiful is Oscar worthy. Lana deserves an award for it.

I love katy perry. I'm not a katy cat but yeah I have all of her songs from teenage dream & the complete confection and her other album. She needs to step up her game though this year she wasn't as great I loved wide awake but she should have more singles.

Miley has an amazing voice (Ex: When I Look at You) and I feel like she's trying to change her image too hard. You know twerking at a concert and the new hair (I think it looks great but it was a big change) Since she is the same age as me, I can understand being 20 you want to make a new name for yourself but I really miss her using her full power to her voice. Just sing it out Miley.

The things I'd do to hear a whole Lana album of hip hop influenced songs, like Off to the Races. It would just work on so many levels, though I don't doubt that some fans would hate it with a passion.

I don't listen that much to remixes, i hate when they speed up her voice or shit like that. There are not a lot of Lana's songs that are remixable imo. But here's my two favorites:
 
Blue Jeans by Gesaffelstein: very dark (as always with him), love the beat

What you said is not mean is totally possible. I think she does have that or she is really smart and created a character and is seeing as an outsider what people do with it. Like a  philosophical experiment or something like that. Too many lies combined and pretentious answers but they seem to be attached to some form of critique to the world she lives in. I don't know really anyway only she knows .

it's things like what you quoted that gave me a reason to stop reading her interviews & stuff in general a while ago. idk why i even decided to read this interview but it annoyed me, i just couldn't find the good in it. she seemed very negative and condescending toward a lot of things - especially america... will try and always remember her as the girl who sings a-m-e-r-i-c-a all i wanna do is play

Considering some of her songs have some feminist type stances (imo), it's weird that she says she doesn't have any take on feminism. Her saying we've got to a good place 'as women'..hmm.
 
Interesting interview really. But I don't believe she is no longer patriotic otherwise she wouldn't sing American on tour and she wouldn't put American flags on her speakers at her concerts? That's a shame if true..

i agree; she shouldn't have to answer personal or grating questions. some of these questions in particular aren't even just grating -- they seem really transparent. like, "do you have opinions on healthcare reform, or . . .?" to me, that question in itself is out of scope, irrelevant, and judgmental / condescending in undertone (especially when paired with those fucking ellipses). this is an artist interview in 'electronic beats' magazine, not some 20-something cocktail party or a med school interview in the caribbean. like, to me, it seems as if she's trying to gauge her intelligence and/or expose her ignorance. can you imagine the interviewer asking florence welch that same exact question? kanye? beyonce? pretty much anyone else? i don't think so. but i also think i might be a tad bit cynical ... 
 
lana probably doesn't know shit about politics. but she doesn't want or deserve to have that fact exposed to the world. it kind of seems like that question was a calculated one. there was no smooth or necessary segue between american imagery ---> obama ---> healthcare
