I feel like a couple of posts in this thread that are complimentary to Lana's weight are inadvertently saying that certain other natural body types are not "healthy", nor are they the types that "real women" have. I think it's great that there's an overwhelming show of support for Lana's body (it feels absurd to even write that ) but I don't think other body types need to be thrown under the bus to make the point. Healthy bodies and women's bodies come in a wide variety of sizes, heights, body types and weight. :3

Wanna help with the currently in development interview subsection??

i've been doing some work on the interview subsection and it is an ENORMOUS task. we're looking at making it incredibly comprehensive, including every print (magazine, online), video (shows, online exclusives), and radio interview, including transcripts of the video and radio interviews and typing out previously scanned-only interviews.  imagine needing to refer to a lana interview but not knowing which one made reference to ________. you'd need only to search the select key words in the interview subsection, using the forum's search feature to find every article she ever mentioned x, y and z. 
 
it's a HUGE project, but one i am confident can be completed relatively quickly we make it a collaborative effort. we're talking every interview, from 2006 to 2013.

This is something i'd really like to work on because the longer this project is put off, the more overwhelming it will become with time with more and more interviews and it may never be tackled. i'm just asking people to pitch in what they can, i am not expecting you'll spend 7h a day working on this. Every little bit helps, but i must admit, those willing to do a little extra will be super duper appreciated.

I just want to see Lana WORK the pole. There's no point in her wearing this outfit with the bills hanging out if she's not working a pole / gyrating sexily / giving a lap dance. If she's just looking off into the distance, all forlorn or whatever in that outfit, I WILL NOT BE HAPPY.

THANK YOU. People need to cut this "a real, healthy, normal woman" shit out. How about a ~real woman~ is a human being that identifies as female--not a number on the scale or "sexy curves" or "huge thigh gap." By saying only people with more body fat are normal you're minimalizing naturally thin people; by saying only skinny people can be healthy you're insulting people with a naturally larger weight/shape who are doing just fine, tyvm. Body shaming in any form isn't o-fucking-kay or harmless or funny, as proved by the thousands of deaths globally (across all cultures, ages, and gender identities) from eating disorders.
 
On a more on-topic note, I need those red shoes in my life. Any help from the more fashion-aware people? I suppose I'll have to check the Lana clothes threads. And I--like everyone else--am hopelessly excited for whatever this new video is.

You guys ARE making me feel fat, my body kinda looks like Lana's right now and I was happy with it   I still am but really no one irl thinks that's chubby/fat/fluffy w/e - it's just everyone being so used to super-toned monster-performers, singers, models, photoshop and it's really kinda ridiculous to feel chubby just cause there are some rolls on your stomach when you sit down or something, but I get all critical of my body sometimes because it's not toned or skinny enough or whatever. And seeing Lana look so amazing just gives me a lot of confidence 

I think there are a lot of critical things you can say about Lana~ but picking about her body is pretty low. Obviously she had insecurities about her appearance, given the procedures she's had and the fact that she blocked someone and told them to go fuck himself for calling him ugly. Calling her "fluffy" and "flabby" is so mean, especially when you consider the fact that there are members here who may be her size or larger. There is nothing wrong with a soft girl, it's actually really refreshing to see. She's like Kate Upton's body type (without the obvious )
