I sense a lot of negativity around her in this era coming surprisingly from her fandom. People are impatient with her, she barely puts out a tune and people are demanding something different immediately. I think that her fandom matured a lot and she always had a considerable adult following (who put her in the guilty pleasure category). It’s obvious that she has a poor management around her because they didn’t take in account this natural change in an artist career. She gets older alongside her fandom, nostalgia can be a strong factor but people change and that can put a strain on any relationship. When you put an album out you must consider your potential audience at least from a commercial point of view. A more adult fandom is more demanding and they will not forgive missteps that plagued her past two releases (no performances, sloppy lyrics, embarrassing interviews). If she’ll choose to not perform her new music again a lot fans would be disappointed. The quality of the album will be essential because the guilty pleasure status was maintained with the quality tracks from UV, HM and BTD. So far, we have a decent track Love (which is rather boring) and LFL which outside the Entwistle story is just like an example of a song created with a Lana lyric generator. A lot of the more mature fans are not here to stan LFL type of songs and frankly I don’t see her regaining her appeal with the teenage GP. So, this release is shaping up to be the most important in her career, the BTD hype could only carry two disappointing eras

This. She'll never have a hit if she will not perform before the GP. She's only followed by her fanbase and some music stans who are following the online music blogs and forums. This has nothing to do with the genre of the music, a lot of indie and alternative acts perform at late night shows to expand their fanbase and make their music known. She is not willing to perform outside her tour or festivals and we all know why but is sad anyway

If the record company wanted a hit they'd get her to work. They know they will never get a hit from her because she just does not move the butt of the sofa

One thing crossed my mind regarding her success this era. I have to say that before this era started, I expected a promotion strategy similar with the HM era with little radio play and no tv performances. I thought that she'll continue her strategy of eschewing the GP and that she will come out with music that will continue the alternative trend of UV and HM aimed at her loyal audience. Love had a brighter sound but wasn't top40 pop, and than, unexpectedly, she put out LFL which is an unabashed pop tune. I expected that her collaboration with Abel will be more in the Stargirl interlude mold, so I was really surprised. In my book, LFL is more top40 pop than anything she put out so far including BTD. My point is that with that kind of music maximum publicity (television, radio, Spotify payola) is a must. These type songs are meant to energize the public for brief period and than fade away. It's one thing to sing WC or SoC type of songs only at festivals but LFL is meant to be on the radio and generate as much hype as it possible to sell the album. What I sense from the information we have is that LFL (the album) is a mix between typical Lana alternative sound and top40 pop (she said that she has more songs like LFL). So far I don't see anything happening in promoting LFL (there is still time) and I fear that a HM promotion strategy combined with a lighter, pop album could really backfire critically and commercially. As a fan I can contribute to her success by buying her music or promoting her to my friends but the rest it is Lana's and her team's business and I hope that they have a sound strategy this time around.

LMAO Lana isn't dating G Eazy just because a Gossip site wants attention. More i think about it the funnier it gets. They hung out at Coachella, end of story.

Her personal life is definitely not my business but I'm not here for any drugs. I didn't liked it when she smoked and from what I know she gave up smoking. She is so involved lately with serious things like climate change, she seems more mature and I'm confident that she'll stay away from harm. I just want her to be happy. I woudn't bet my life on some UK tabloid info tho

In all seriousness with songs like Love and LFL I cannot imagine that she"ll repeat the promo strategy from the HM era. I think that she"s ready to raise her public profile. Maybe we'll get some tv performances, in Europe at least.

This era is so unpredictable, I didn"t expected a song like LFL tbh. The ideas are just flying around: brujeria, space surfing, preaching to the kids, getting naked on the H sign, eco-queen singing to the trees, literraly anything can happen. This era will be epic

I saw that she dismissed the Entwistle story. In a way is a smart move because she is steering away from controversies. On the other hand, without the story the LFL lyrics make little sense, they feel like a collection of clichés. She said that she didn"t saw any ghosts in her apartment in the H sign but she depicted herself as a ghost in the trailer. I'm not convinced that she didn't know about the story. Her fixation with the H sig,n, climbing on it and living inside as a ghost, is just strange
