I remember seeing Doja live before she blew up, watching her perform So High and her earlier stuff. songs like Morning Light, Wild Beach, Wine Pon You, You Right and so on, something that I love so much about her music's this elevating, sensual high, if u get it u get it, really lives to the Doja to her name. haven't listened to the album yet, loving Agora Hills too much to listen to anything else rn wondering if she'll ever release Generous

Land of the Lost - 2009

what i really love the most about this era is that at least imo, she seems real happy to be touring and performing her songs. she grew from being misunderstood and being someone that frontier'd/ brought forth a new wave of music and sound, to now being able to enjoy her artistry and work.

I’ve been going thru personal stuff so maybe that’s made my subconscious more active but I had a dream last night where Lana really upped her tour. Her set was placed in a French castle of an island where she started from a mid-level balcony, ended up doing 4 costume changes (an Angelina Jolie Mrs Smith coat outfit, a rehashed warrior princess dress, a classic ball look, and a nightgown to start). There’s a part where she goes circus du soleil and is lifted by cables similar to how Pink does at her shows, except Lana also has these draped pink fabrics for wings. She then says something like, “it’s useless to be afraid of anything in this life” and she literally jumps off the balcony and the cables whoosh her beautifully to another part of the castle (I remember being inspired and laughing at the dream at the same time at this point thinking, what????) she changes outfits while fireworks begin to fill the sky, and she then does a cable down to do a quick fan pit greeting at the main floor. La la la la it’s a lust for life festival feel moment, and then she gets on a hot air balloon and does this reverb-y F5 in falsetto as she floats away while her dancers are shooting out flower cannons and the stage lights up w streamers as she floats out of stageview.

watched elemental the disney movie bc I thought it'd be nice to look at for a nice lighthearted watch and it was, but it was actually a really beautiful movie. I loved it. fire and water coming together? the simple concepts, the social undertones, alongside very tender and meaningfully made moments, this film was just right. I really liked it.

going by taco truck, like i mentioned much earlier in the thread somewhere, i'd love a lot more sultrier stuff. i was hoping for another vanity project of an album I know that a lot of people don't really appreciate chemtrails or blue banisters, but I do very much believe that they were necessary to have the culmination that is ocean blvd. pulling this from air but. 15 tracks. warmer, earthier atmosphere. country in the early morning rather than high noon tambourines updo's large windows, serene queen vibes
