Seeing pictures of Nagasaki and Hiroshima victims (or just reading descriptions of what happened) gives me nightmares. I was in a small museum I found by accident in my uni town and had to leave the exhibition because I just couldn't... be there, you know? It made me feel so bad and horrified.

Same, the only time I've seen real guns was after the terror attack in Stockholm when the police officers were heavily armed. It was really scary to see them in real life, even though I knew they were there for my safety. It's something you've only seen in movies before. I can't believe some people actually have guns unless they're hunters... and that video clip that went viral of the girl who sobbed happy tears when she got a weapon as a present... I'm shivering! It's so weird that something I see as scary and dangerous can be seen as something wonderful in another person's eyes.

I was thinking about the booklets for each album. All of them fit the theme of the albums pretty well (BTD's modern twist of vintage glamour, UV's grey scale skylines, HM's bright and blurry florals) but the LFL booklet... I don't know, the only thing that makes it connect with the album is the daisy flowers (for her political songs?) and the dress she's wearing (Love music video). The gas station looks cool, but has nothing to do with the actual songs itself. Any thoughts?

When I listen to this album and go back to her BTD album, it just hits me how different her voice sounds since her debut... both sounds really good, but her "childish" voice sounds better to her BTD/Paradise songs and I can't imagine her singing GBA with that voice, haha. She sounds more mature now, and it suits her age too. Yaaasssss, it looks perfect! ♥

I don't think the movie will really glamorize the murders, is it even directly about the murders? IMDB says "A TV actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Charles Manson murders in 1969 Los Angeles.", so maybe it's something that will happen in "the background" while the focus is one the TV actor and his stunt? But Independent also writes "Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate. [...] It has previously been reported that Charles Manson will loom large in the movie, though not be its focus." I dunno.

Woke up this morning hoping I'd see a video of Wayamaya. Lana looked and sounded amazing though, the dress was perfect for Hawaii. ♥

Here I thought "I got tested, and I passed, yes" was about regularily testing yourself against diseases since the next line is "lay me down tonight", meaning she's safe to... you know, "do" tonight. And then I saw the song is about Lorde.
