Hey @nothinggoldcanstay, just letting you know that I merged your thread to this this one. I wouldn’t be too upset with Lana, I know at least of another band who had to cancel their festival stop because of the pandemic and they never announced that the festival isn’t on anymore.

2019, maybe. When was the last time you did something creative?

I saw the email when I woke up in the middle of the night (as I usually do but I can go back to sleep easily so it’s okay) and it’s so cooooolll aaaaahhh thank you Elle for working on this for us!

The only thing I don’t like about the new(?) cover art is the white border. I wasn’t a fan of the HM UO version and not LFL either. :/

Two conditioners: I’m finally ready to give the curly girl method a try after reading about it for years! I’m so excited to try them! An eyeshadow palette. I don’t really use eyeshadows. Reviews on youtube say it smells like coffee, and I don’t even like coffee. But! The colors looked pretty and something that could work for every day. It was pretty cheap and the packaging is cute, so maybe I’ll try to play with eyeshadows more now. Inhaler’s debut album on splatter vinyl. I’ve always wanted a splatter or marbled vinyl and now I had a reason to buy one!

BlackoutZone, an insider, hinted that Thunder will be on the album on June 22nd, and Lana liked an Instagram post (sayyeetoheaven’s?) yesterday/late last night where the caption mentioned Thunder and Cherry Blossom being on the album.

I agree with you, kind of. The versions of Cherry Blossom that I’ve heard are really just Lana singing over simple piano chords, and that’s really not very exciting. I’ve always loved the lyrics though, they’re very sweet. I’ve seen those recordings as a demo take, something she recorded to keep and maybe revisit later. I want to believe she’s worked more with it, instrumentally wise, because I’m not sure she can go with another piano ballad after Change, hope (which is gorgeous and I wouldn’t change anything), and For Free. I hope she’ll do a Black Beauty, not saying she should turn it into a rock ballad but that I hope she’s worked on it and added more instruments, maybe brought some strings back. Maybe something like Bel Air. Then I think it would be worthy to put on the album.

It’s interesting (and sad) to see how many people are hating on Cherry Blossom since Lana hinted that it’ll be on the album. When it was still only another unreleased song, I read nothing but praise for it.
