I just want to say while I took a break from LB to focus more on school stuff and panicking 4 times in a week, Blue Banisters really helped me to calm down. It was like the only thing that made my anxiety, well, not exactly go away, but get less overwhelming. I had it on repeat on low volume for so long since it’s release. I didn’t find Wildflower or text book to be as soothing, so I haven’t played them too much since the release but! I’m ready to stream them a lot now! They’re really so beautiful, and I love the lyrics.

Hmm, I kiiiind of agree with you. I’d love to hear something more melodically driven (these three singles are quite... quiet? in a sense?), and I’d appreciate something that doesn’t sound like a typical ballad, something in the feel of HBTB or TJF maybe, but I think her lyricism is fire! Hope, Mariner’s, Blue Banisters, they’re all so beautifully written and introspective, especially blue banisters where you kind of have to “read in between the lines” to get what she’s saying. So, yes, I’m here for stronger melodies as long as they have great lyrics to match!

It was INTENSE this year, the best finals I’ve even seen I think! I was screaming when Finland got all those tele votes lmaooo, and poor UK, I can already see the British press’ ruthless headlines...! I was entertained the whole show, and thanks to Ukraine, I now know what song to play at 3 AM before I crash at 4 AM.

It’s funny to remember how upset I was with the single cover for MAC, how I felt that such a great song deserved a better cover, and that I’m almost indifferent to it now. Lana picking selfies as single covers is like a new tradition now, I know it’s gonna happen so I don’t have the energy to complain about it anymore lol.

Hello guys, happy weekend, I’m so hyped for this album, I’ve been streaming blue banisters like crazy the past days but it’s time to move on to the others singles and get familiarized with them too! I absolutely love the lyrics and the way she delivers the lines aahhh I’m really happy

Definitely, I’m that kind of person who can keep the same song on repeat for a long time if I’m in the mood. All I listen to is blue Banisters lately, and a couple of days ago (or last week?) I had the same Marina song on repeat for like an hour. I’ve even written about the time I listened to the same video game song for three hours lmao.

I never thought Lana would ever sing about her relationship with her mom and decide to share it with the world... whew. The lyrics for this song is gorgeous.

I can tell this line is gonna f me up one day. “Calling from beyond the grave, I just wanna say ‘hi, dad’” is already a line I’ve claimed, this one will be the next.

I absolutely love the lyrics, they touch me in a way most of Chemtrails didn’t. I don’t care about escaping ashes and having coffee by swimming pools and schools... I care about this, about being broken but finding something or someone who makes you feel better. I’m already in love with this album.

I think it’s sad she feels that way about her But then again, it might be better to move on than try to mend something that is broken. I’m proud of Lana for finding a way to live, knowing it won’t get better.

If these won’t earn her a Grammy, I swear...
