It’s Nowruz, the Persian new year, today, and Lana made feel seen, I grew up with rock candies. (I didn’t get to eat much though because they weren’t on sticks but rather clumps or sheets of rock candy and nearly impossible to break lol) -

Honestly, I know I shouldn’t doubt her because I did for the past months and she came to slay me yesterday but Chemtrails will be hard to top. I just hope her revenge album will be just as good as Norman and Chemtrails or else I’m afraid it won’t be much of a revenge. -

I’m 98% sure Dealer’s gonna be on this album. I’m also 80% sure the album won’t be out this year, but she might release a single early just to annoy us. -

I was going to start it yesterday but I was lazy and wanted to enjoy this COCC release for a little longer... I’ll start making it now. -

I hate it when Instagram stops notifying me of Lana’s posts ugh Yes helloooo, I came here to manifest Pink Panther vibes for this era! -
The director of the village actually reached out to us, LanaBoards, with this info!

I don't think she's doing terribly. Critics seem to love the album and praises her voice and songwriting, it's evident that her managers and Polydor's co-CEO are proud of her and her work, stans buy several copies of her album. I've only seen one or two fans say they'll leave the fandom because Norman and Chemtrails weren't what they were hoping for, most people seem to really like it. And like @WildMustang said, this record isn't exactly made to be commercially successful, it doesn't have Doin' Time like Norman had, no fun summer bops. The closest to that would be Tulsa in my opinion (and I hope to hear it on radio soon, but I don't expect to it to happen). She hasn't promoted the album really, and neither has Universal. They know her fans will know, because we're always hungry for more. Isn't Chemtrails like #1 on iTunes in several countries? She's doing great for an album with almost no promotion at all. I'm proud of her. This is a solid album and I worried for a long, long time that it wouldn't live up to Norman since I loved it so much. There's a little bit of Lizzy in there, a little bit of Born To Die in the way she sings in DTWD, and she still manages to put who she is today into this work as well.

I think all the signatures look authentic? -
"In the middle is perhaps this great album’s greatest segment. A minor-key folk song that doesn’t bother trying to be anything but, Yosemite dates back to sessions for Del Rey’s 2017 album, Lust for Life, but embodies this album’s concern with craft. “We did it for fun, we did it for free,” she sings of her work, in one of Del Rey’s best vocals to date."

I only know that they'll do like a handful of festival tour stops. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna miss their Sweden debut because I a) am not vaccinated yet and b) don't wanna spend so much money on a festival ticket, the line up isn't that great anyway.

I'd love to travel to Dublin around Christmas and see them live, but I have a feeling it'll be difficult to get tickets since it's their home, haha. I've always wanted to revisit Ireland again ever since I my school trip in 2014, Wicklow Mountains had such beautiful nature. I didn't want to leave because it was already spring there and I still had snow in Sweden lol. x) Oh, also, I saw their limited single vinyls in their webshop. For some strange reason they won't show up on their shop's first page. At the moment, you can only order a vinyl for It won't always be like this/Oklahoma. https://www.inhaler.band/cope-catalog/it-wont-always-be-like-this-limited-7/ https://www.inhaler.band/cope-catalog/falling-in-limited-blue-7/ https://www.inhaler.band/cope-catalog/we-have-to-move-on-ice-cream-sundae-limited-7/ I've checked my local record store's website this past week and they haven't updated their Inhaler stuff, so I don't think they'll sell a CD unless you ask them to order one for you. So I think I'll buy from the official webshop instead and get the CD and colored vinyls at the same time.

Oh, right, tour dates were announced some day ago. I'm glad to see the dates are in late 2021 so the band, hopefully, won't have to reschedule. Interesting that there's only one London night...!

The jazzy outro drum in Chemtrails makes me hope for an album sounding a bit more jazz. -

Oh, I’m not mad about it, I thought it was beautiful. The blonde wig was just a thought I had.
