Hmmm I don’t know why but I think I prefer Norman over this album. I remember thinking that it felt to me like we got a peek inside Lana’s diary with Norman, but she’s more personal on this album, and Chemtrails is more cohesive so I don’t know why I don’t like it more. Take away BAR (and doin’ time) and Norman is perfect, but this album kinda is perfect sonically. Yet, I still prefer Norman. It doesn’t really make sense. :/

Discussing the British monarchy and politics might not belong in here. I understand that it’s because of Lana’s posts, but I feel that these past posts are getting further away from discussing them. Please try to keep a good tone in your replies, I don’t want to see any fights starting.

I never don’t read this thread too often to know what’s going on for most of the time, but bumping threads is not encouraged and neither is writing things that makes others uncomfortable, so maybe we should try to keep that in mind when we come back to this thread?

What if rcs is an EP? I wouldn’t mind that, I think. It wouldn’t be too far fetched if it really is coming this year, would it?

I agree that this album needs to go in different direction. I love Norman, but Chemtrails sounded similar in many ways and I wouldn’t want a third album in the same musical style. I feel that it needs a little... fire? Something to break off these ballads she’s been writing for the past 4 years. But then again, Lana is the queen of calm, cool songs... and I do want her to keep that. But if this is meant to be her “revenge” album, I would like to hear something else than songs like Change, Get Free, Love song, Happiness, hope, White Dress, like a woman, how to disappear/Wild at heart... And don’t get me wrong, those are great songs. But then again, if she would only release tracks like thunder, California and the greatest, I guess I wouldn’t mind that in the end even though they sound like something I’ve already heard lol. I just love Lana’s music, whatever she puts out, I’m most likely gonna end up loving it anyway.

Hey, I know that not everyone can get along because of different opinions or whatever the reason is, but please try to sound nicer in your comments. Like the saying goes; if you don’t have anything nice to stay, it’s usually better to keep it to yourself. I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re not welcome here at LanaBoards. Thank you!

Keep listening to their released songs and look up the rest on youtube, they have performed some of them live so there are some live recordings of you’re curious. My king will be kind is one of my favorites, and I already like, like, 7 songs on the album so I’m very sure I’m gonna buy their album! (I sound as if I haven’t already preordered it lmao)

Maybe! I would polish this a lot because I wouldn’t want to print this on a shirt as it is right now, and I would need find a way how to do it as well. I’m pretty sure I’ll start a small shop this summer and sell art stuff, since the pandemic isn’t over yet and I don’t wanna risk getting sick at some summer work place. And thank you!
