This cover is good, for me sounds like she has good singing skills but it's just my impression, I do not have professional knowledge ^^' . Anyway, IMHO she didn't add anything new into the song but at least she didn't destroy it either - I'm usually having a hard time listening to covers of my favorite artists' songs. And I find her voice nice, it isn't beautiful but I'm ok to hear it in the radio ^^

The real question is when will Billy Ray cover this?

i've seen interviews with her and she seems like a nice person but neither her tits nor her music do anything for me. i really dislike her voice, it's so nasal, it's just uncomfortable to listen to for me. it's cool she likes lana though.

Her voice can be so grinding when the music isn't written for her. It has nothing to do with the fact that it's a Lana Del Rey song; Miley's voice is just so distinct, I have a hard time with it sometimes.

I've been listening to some interviews recently and I absolutely love what she's saying about beauty, about seeing/hearing it (for instance she said Elvis' voice was so beautiful that she couldn't believe it was real). It's exactly why I care about the world I'm living in. Looking for beautiful things is what I enjoy doing the most. Or that she wants her records to be good, well, some people don't even pretend they care about the quality of their creations. Doesn't matter if her image is her job or not, if it isn't, she still does good job, having such a great taste and choosing to persorm awesome art. Sorry, I just love this girl.

Well, the first time I started to like Lana was when I somehow got Off To The Races, Dark Paradise and Diet Mountain Dew onto my phone and I listened to Off To The Races to see what it was. The first thing I noticed was her voice and how girly or deep it can sound (at the time I actually thought it was two people singing the song :/ ). Then I was bored one day and decided to google what she looked like and damn I was not disappointed Then I saw this before and after special FX vid for The Great Gatsby which had Young and Beautiful playing in the background and I really noticed how beautiful her voice was. It was about here that I started to go crazy over her so I guess I'm still fairly noob
 
Apart from her looks, I'd say I love Lana cus she's interesting and not conceited AFAIK. She's also a sassy bitch so yeh

Edit: Also, did someone edit their post? I could have sworn someone speculated whether Lana is a Jesus freak, but I can't find it now.   And I had the DC Talk video all ready to go.

I love the Technicolor feeling. I like Marilyn's singing and whoever was talking was that Jesus? The look she gives at the end. I hope the feeling I have that the whole film will be in these tiny dimensions is wrong.
