You couldn’t have said it any better. Honeymoon is undoubtedly a new artistic and spiritual plane for Lana on so many levels that she has yet to parallel - not in a way that pits her songs against each other, but it’s just in its own space. It exists in a universe that we cannot metabolize. I absolutely love it and that BBC Radio 1 performance is such a blessing to have. I listen to that at least once a month because it’s so haunting and the very essence of Lana <3

‘The Seaman on My Linen’ I love this nautical, sailor-inspired NFR imagery! ? Diana was rumoured to be a song meant for LFL in early 2016 but I think it wasn’t ever confirmed. Since she referenced Diana in Patent Leather Do-Over I think people were just reminded of that song, myself included!

So excited for this, just as much as I’ve been for her records. I really feel that the poetry has brought us a lot closer into Lana’s inner world, which is a real blessing to even have her share with us!

In the meantime - if you ignore something it can’t hurt you! How many songs does everyone think COTCC will have? I feel like it could be no less than 13, but no more than 18 - I’m thinking 14 or 15 most realistically, maybe with one interlude that’s either a shorter song or a poem? Hoping it’s a poem tbh because I love Lana’s poetry and like @past the bushes said, BN worked so well on HM. To have it be Lana’s original writing would be amazing!

Does anyone think not slandering Lana on her own site is a good thing? I love Lana Del Rey, I think she’s a really interesting artist.

I know right! September 2018 feels like forever ago and it seems so surreal to think that the book is finally coming! And to think that Behind the Iron Gates is (still hopefully) slated for release in March! I love her poetry and it’s just so amazing to be able to experience it!

I’m so excited for this that I can’t even explain it! The poetry books are just as exciting of a release to me as the records! <3
