Well, the fact that it was used in the credits makes me think in the likes of I Can Fly, and how it was part of the Ultraviolence sessions in late 2013 and ended up being used for the credits of Big Eyes. It could be that Watercolour Eyes was recorded in August/September 2021 (as we know she recorded it at Capitol Studios, where she was pictured then) and was intended for LDR 9, but didn’t fit, so it was reused for Euphoria. This also entails that the next album is near or has reached completion if a tracklist is being shaped (which Lana has already alluded to with “DNC”).

Interesting! If this is true, could it have been the video for Change that never got greenlit? She mentioned wanting to incorporate nuclear imagery and people around her shutting that down because of its overexposure at that point — perhaps this was part of it!

This is probably nit-picky coming from me, but the fact that they used an image from a video for Paradise as a reference for a re-imagined Born to Die cover is.. And I don’t know, I just think the commentary of that one in general is a little off…

To be honest, if somebody tried to capture my very personal, autobiographical art in a way that I felt didn’t do it justice, I’d say something like that too Diplomatic queen!
