The way we all subliminally acknowledge that Ultraviolence is the collective favourite and by popular opinion, objectively the best record, because literally any time there is new music on the way, the sonic landscape manifested is comparable to UV and there is a general excitement when we hear about electric guitar and drums (two main descriptors of UV).

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

Exactly! To me, no song of Lana’s sounds out of place on its parent album, so I have faith that this track will be in the right place wherever it ends up. I think I was kept busy during the NFR pre-release so the yearlong wait did not feel like a year - but selfishly, I will say that I’ll gladly welcome a new Lana record this year

Ultraviolence and Honeymoon, hands-down. I don’t even need to explain why, you should just get it! Edit: Also Lust for Life, I feel like she could do a lot visually, since that record carries such a narrative and sonically, lends itself to archival, b-movie horror soundtracks.

Yesterday (January 13, 2022), Lana was spotted at a Chipotle in CA, where she FaceTimed a fan and left them a signature + note!

Sigh…as a wise Lorde once said, bored* at the nail salon.

Wait..I am so confused reading these last few posts, so I apologize if everybody has concluded this already. My understanding is that: 1. Loved You Then and Now is the same song as Rock Candy Sweet. 2. Rock Candy Sweet (LYTAN retitled) was the original title track for the album that would follow COTCC. 3. The lyrics, “I think you’re sweet like rock candy / wild like beaches that leave me sandy” are from a NEW song, totally separate from RCS. But here is where I lose sight: 1. Has it been confirmed that the song with the lyrics, “I think you’re sweet like rock candy / wild like beaches that leave me sandy” is the song for Euphoria?

I’m excited that BTD and NFR are being done by artists who seem to specialize in portraits and character studies, given the iconography of those two records. I can imagine Paradise being a very pastoral, picturesque scene
