  1. Here's a link to a soundcloud that MTV had uploaded on their website. xxx
  2. We got over 100 leaked songs or something, and y'all complaining about not having 2 bonus songs on a 14-track album.
  3. ^ I googled Terrence places, Terrence neighbourhood, Terrence city-- the first result that dropped down when I was typing it into Google was, "Terrence city in Alabama", but there is no such thing as a city, neighborhood, or any place named Terrence as far as Google knows. But there is a director named Terrence Malick. Who has made some highly critically acclaimed films since the 70s. So if anyone is a Terrence Malick fan and can relate anything possibly to the song that'd be cool. Because, that is the only person named Terrence that I could see her possibly naming the song after or maybe she's referencing a love theme in his movies?
  4. I was thinking I had an interpretation of this song to post but now I am not sure. I am now wondering if Lana is singing from "Terrence's" perspective instead of singing from her perspective. If so I need to back to the drawing board.
  5. Me during the major tom part: Me during the rest of the song: But overall I love it but that bridge just makes the song for me. Lanz channeling those Bowie vibes.~~~~~
  6. The Space Oddity reference is going to slay me so damn hard I may die tomorrow for real. Bowie is my favorite artist of all time and for Lana to use these lines, I may just die.
  7. Oh, I'm sorry I didn't pick up on it haha . I do love "Perfume" too it's my favorite off the album, and probably the most memorable song off the album tbh. I just hope one day she releases, Original Doll (even though she should go back and re-record it), or makes a whole new album where it's her and like 1-2 producers and they just write and produce the whole thing.
  8. Well seeing as she had like 6 co-writers per song...., and that will.i.am was involved with a lot of it. (The worst producer/musician/whatever he refers to call himself out there in my opinion) I personally feel like the album could have been way better and more personal. I feel that her record company and others ruined/limited her creative control over it. I do however feel that, "Perfume" and "Alien" are some of her most personal songs that she has ever made since, "Someday", "Mona Lisa" and "Everytime".
  9. The first -- or one of the first songs I ever learned word for word was, Oops, I did it again. When I was like 6? I grew up with Britney thank god and I am so appreciative of it. I followed her music through my years of growing up even when I got really into hard rock and metal I still listened to Britney. When she went 'crazy' I stuck by her and supported her. I have always loved her music and will keep listening to her until the day I die tbh. None of her songs ever get old. One of my favorites is Someday (I Will Understand) and I wish that she would release an album where she wrote all of her songs because I think she has such great talent and potential to be a songwriter I really do.
  10. When it happens to me I just refresh the page and it works.
  11. I feel like they do it because it gets the fans all hyped up who spread the word around, and gets the promo going before the actual promo? Didn't they release billboards for UV before the release date was even announced to let us know it was coming soon..?
  12. Lana del Rey - the artists whose releases always comes out a few days earlier then planned.
  13. The same woman who promised an album in September was also the same women who promised Ultraviolence out on "May 1st' in a paparazzi video..... We didn't get no Ultraviolence on May 1st now did we?
  14. Lana's promotion relies on her music videos and people making shit up about her.
  15. She seems to be the result of Lana and Lorde having a baby together. She doesn't seem genuine at all especially with the striking similarity of "New Americana" to "National Anthem". I find her humorous talking in that video posted by comeintomybedroom, about how the song isn't about doing drugs but speaking for a generation of diversity. "New Americana" sounds like she is praising 14 year olds who have just discovered weed and grunge music off tumblr blogs back in 2010. I'm pretty sure she's just over-hyped and will be forgotten by next year. Just my two cents.
  16. You motherfuckers have too much damn time on your hands by making up these joke theories. (but i admire them nevertheless) I just want Lana to do one TV performance/interview for this damn album. Idgaf with who or where.
  17. When she did, Old Money she claimed to have never done it. >.> So what were those videos of youtube of her singing it last year? But I'm thankful that she did it nevertheless.
  18. Didn't someone already post in the status updates the real estate website link with the address and everything like two days ago..?
