I feel as if even though Lana loves Lou Reed (He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed...) I feel as if her line in BTD "take a walk on the wild side" is just something she actually came up with to fit the song good. I don't think it has to do with any reference to Lou Reed.

I consider her done with it before that video for UV.

Time to release G&M as a single. It isn't like Lana is fully into UV yet anyway... But seriously the cover's fine but really? looking to get hit hard. Since it is in the 50's couldn't they have just used, Boogie Woogie since it apparently was a 50's sex slang.. At least than some of these people unsatisfied with all these modern songs could have at least one 50's elements incorporated into the song... In the land of Gods and Monster I was an angel looking to Boogie Woogie hard..

Does anyone else wonder if Lana's meth references and meth mystery are just her being generally obsessed with the drug?

I honestly think Old Money is inspired by The Great Gatsby. Because, in The Great Gatsby themes of 'old money' run throughout the novel. Also, the love scenes in the movie and in the book when you see Gatsby and Daisy when they were younger the song honestly fits perfectly in a way... It sounds like it is more through the perspective of Gatsby than Daisy.

The way I relate to Lana is everything we want we have, money, notoriety, and rivieras.

The chorus is so powerful, and gives it a "We Are The Champions" feel, but yet that edge of sarcasm makes me feel as if there is something deeper into it.

She was such one of the greatest looking women in history to me, in all honesty. Her looks gosh. She seemed to define just the femme fatale look, some of her pictures just the stare in them just defines 'bitch.' A woman who can get what she wants, and knows how to get it. I loved her nonetheless.

I know plenty of people know her, but I didn't think she was liked/loved enough for her CD to almost be sold-out at around 11am at Target the day it came out.

I expected allusions to an abusive relationship..... Like at least a bruise or something.. :c All we really see is her getting ready for her some wedding, and then walking around with the straps falling down her shoulders. Then eating some TANGERINE and sucking on some dudes fingers. Then we hear the dude talk at the end. Anyone else notice how at around 2:40 she doesn't finish singing "Loving you was really hard.." as if she someone did something physical to her or said something that really just bit her emotionally.. Just a thought... seems like the only line she had trouble synching along to.... Then she is at the church kneeling cause after all that walking, she needs to rest. x
