  1. I believe she use to tell the boys she use to have sex with, that they were her "National Anthem", and she only wanted them to do the same as they came, but they never did. So she released this song for all her fans to tell her she was their national anthem.
  2. Oh what can I do? To turn you on or get through to you.....
  3. I want Money Power Glory to beee a siiiiiinggggllleeeee.
  4. I just looked at the credits for "Ride", and his name wasn't there. It is possible though she could have used someone who looked like him though?
  5. Summertime Sadness - There’s something exotic about you that makes people want to get to know you. You’re sensitive yet self-aware, a quality that makes you both intelligent and (sometimes) lonely. You live in the moment and appreciate the little things. Sometimes your emotional side draws you into a sad, desperate mood and makes you think about the past a lot, luckily you always find the strength to get over it. You feel the need to be adventurous and find strength in facing your fears. You’re on fire!
  6. I wonder what it is like when you tell fellow inmates why you're in prison because you leaked Lana Del Rey and Sky Ferreira songs...
  7. Nashville... Midwest...? what nashville did she go to?
  8. 1. Old Money 2. Money Power Glory 3. Flipside
  9. 1. Who are you? 2. Who is K? 3. What's your whole life story?
  10. I can feel the attitude/pissed off-ness in the first line.
  11. I think it was something for Gatsby, because Old Money is a recurring theme throughout the novel. The song though says to me it is about growing up, and going through hardships as adulthood comes closer. I think it maybe about a lover(or friend) who Lana once had, but lost due to her alcoholism days. You can literally hear the smile in her voice when she sings about her parents, but then it seems to disappear on the next line, "still inside I felt alone for reasons unknown to me." Loneliness is a big factor in Lana's lyrics, so she probably is tired of being lonely, and wants to run to the person she is singing about. She just wants to be reunited with that special someone most likely....
  12. Lana is an artist... She's allowed to glamorize whatever she wants to. People disagreeing with it is just part of begin an artist..... Even if it isn't healthy neither what some things performance artists do are exactly 'healthy'...
  13. I wonder if this could have been inspired by The Great Gatsby, because when I was studying Great Gatsby we talked about Old Money a lot. So my first thought was this could have been influenced by The Great Gatsby. :c
  14. I don't think it is about Lorde or Gaga. I think it maybe about someone who was in indie and somehow went mainstream for ripping off her sound. Lorde or Gaga doesn't sound like Lana's music nor do they really do similar work. Except for gaga and Lana having long music videos. The way Lana words it makes it seem like someone who got successful before she did. I don't know who though.
  15. Not going to lie. I am not the biggest fan when models decide they can suddenly sing/act. When I clicked play though I was actually shocked by how good she sounds. <3
  16. This playlist has been out since Paradise came out.

  18. I actually listened to that whole song though. Lizzy McGuire movie, oh childhood.
  19. First time I heard her was, when my friend told me she was listening to Video Games by her, and I had heard of her, but never bothered to look her up. This was in November of 2011. So I listened to her and became obsessed with her, then I noticed she had another video on her vevo which was, Born to Die. So, I listened to those two back and forth for like hours on end. My first download by her was the Lana Del Rey EP on iTunes.
