Abu fucking Dhabi is clearly fine to perform there, I even said in previous posts that a bombing or anything nasty is very unlikely to happen there so dunno what the problem is? I already cleared that up.
In my last post I simply mentioned (in response) the experiences my friends got from Dubai and the fact (in a general view about western countries vs islamic ones) was an important difference of sharia law being in place (between other things). What's wrong with that? I wasn't talking about bombings/shootings in my last post btw.

Ive friends that went to Dubai and they didn't have the best impressions at all, and I know also of someone who moved to live there due to her company job, and she is being treated like shit. It isn't even any sort of small business, it's an international one with many offices worldwide. Yet the male workers are treating her with disrespect, they don't even listen to what she has to say regarding company matters despite her having a really high position within their company ranks. And that happens only because she is a woman. Islamic countries with sharia law in place are not safe by default. That's a fact. Any other western country will be far more safe option than countries with sharia law in place. At least in U.S. that some people tend to shit on so much in this thread, they won't get in trouble for kissing and hugging in public!

I already said that yes his comment was extra because it's true that the chances of a terrorist attack/bomb is very unlikely to happen. I asked however, what is "racist" exactly in his statement because no, let's clear something up a bit, Arab Muslim nation is not about race. Muslim = the religious reference. Not a race. Terrorists aren't about race either, obvs. Since when arab muslims are considered a race? By that logic then Christians are a race too. So yeah u are wrong about this instance sorry.

Well if Lana decided not to perform there because of sharia law, it would be a very valid reason and I wouldn't blame her for that decision. This law is a disgrace to humanity.

Just curious but when are we going to see the new theme/any changes? Just an aprox date, it's ok if it's not specific. It would be nice also to have an alternative dark theme if more ppl would like that. I love dark themes! Maybe add as main theme the one you plan to work on for the most part and get as alternative one of the free dark themes from ipboard marketplace/or other alt site of your choice? And IMHO no need for app creation. Forums don't need phone apps generally. Just a good responsive theme to keep working smoothly each time you update the forum's IPS version.

We know for a fact she usually uses private jets, such as the New Orleans photos, where a fan got to take a photo with Byron and it was just the band that was flying separately from her, whereas Lana was on a private jet, with pictures provided by none other thannnn Lana and co! Then of course the selfies/videos Lana took of her flying solo in her private jet, and all the times she's been spotted getting off her private jet, like her arrival in Sydney (video footage of that) and other major cities (again, footage of that too) etc.
 
The private jet claims from everyone did not come out of thin air, there's plenty of photos & videos of her using private jets.

One person can influence others to make changes, which was the point in mentioning Greta Thunberg who has garnered up to 7 million protesters ww
 
Defending someone who uses private jets regularly (while they complain about climate change in interviews, no less) because "one person won't make a difference!1!1" is the logical fallacy here
 
Evidently when speaking of global greenhouse gas emissions the AVERAGE single person's contribution would be minuscule

Therefore, if she wants actual changes to start happening, why doesn't she start by applying them to her personal life, while also actually saying something of substance rather than "people who are pro-environment have lovely voices" as this interview suggests?
 
Lana enjoys dipping her toes in, but so rarely follows through with said beliefs. One could take ur argument and actually flip it: since u consider one person's actions so irrelevant, whether it is climate change or veganism, what's the point in Lana's "lovely voices" words? It amounts to nothing, far more so than a single person's actions would. And, if she feels so strongly about it, why does she fly in private jets routinely? 

Lana acting concerned about the environment despite her personal carbon footprint being massive through use of yachts and private jets alone is laughable

Therefore Lana's personal carbon footprint is much higher in comparison, which is not even a question, especially considering she has far less people aboard in comparison to a commercial jet. The idea is that Lana is so privileged she can z00m0z00m her private jet around while paying for offset (which is the equivalent of abusing a woman but then donating to women's shelters to rectify it) but the thing is, average people cannot do that and would instead need to decrease consumption meaning they will have issues with higher prices. So, Lana is out of touch because she will not have to tackle the consequences of her forthcoming policies the same way a normal person would
