I love it. Lana's best songs in my opinion are the ones that conjure vivid imagery and mood and for me I can already see the dark, twisted forest and the swirling mist around her as she sings the song. I might be the only one in this, but did anyone kind of get a Hocus Pocus vibe (Come Little Children) from the way she sang some parts of the song. I don't know, but I love it and I'll play it to death in my bedroom in the dark until a video comes out.

I like the shouty bit at the end of the DWD performance from the Roskilde Festival and I noticed it's significantly played down on the studio snippet. Anyway, DWD and Fire Rides are the only live performances I listen to a lot so hopefully I won't have too much demoitis. Though I'm slightly familiar with The Sea and No Mythologies to Follow as well.

Right, like less produced. Stripped. I guess "night" is just a cooler way to say that. It's a great twist on "Dark Night", which is pretty upbeat. It looks like all the night versions on the album are made from the ballads, though, but I'd like to see it on even more upbeat songs like "Pilgrim".

she looks really pretty and happy and relaxed and younger and much better than she did during the tour. maybe it was the make-up or maybe she was stressed. i don't think touring is very healthy for her. and i like when she plays at classy events like this and and the mulberry and louis vuitton aftershows and stuff, she really fits in there.

I find this whole thing deeply weird. I'm not completely sure what to make of it, but color me skeptical. Are we sure this guy isn't a charlatan or delusional fan? Have we considered the possibility that he may have convinced several people to credit him as a writer on their YouTube videos by sending them messages like the one above so that he could point to them and convince more people that he worked with her? Something doesn't smell right to me.
 
Edit: Could someone who's been in contact with him ask how long he claims to have worked for UMG and/or worked with Lana?
