But I think if she was a plant, she proves that if industry plants had the talent for music and the ability to create a dedicated fanbase, they can break free of it and be a great artist on their own.

Nobody in either party was going to do anything positive. Kamala was going to let Israel do what it wants, Trump is going to do that and go further. 
 
This is why we need to work on an effective third party NOW. Democratic leadership will not do anything, we have to take control back.

I feel like while Kanye has some fucked up stuff, people forget he's severely mentally ill and has had doctors around him pump him full of drugs so they could get control of his finances and/or music. 
 
It didn't help his "friends" (see: Jay-Z) used his mental health and addiction induced vulnerability for their own ends only to abandon him once his usefulness as an object outweighed his problems.

How do you know that? Have you heard it? (I'm being serious, have you heard it?) Also everywhere I've read about that song (here, Reddit, Facebook, Discord, elsewhere), they've said it's about her.

the reason i'd have to stop listening is because like... I've spent so much money on Lana. I've bought every edition of her albums and singles, I've bought collector's items and magazines and bootlegs and collected every scrap she ever recorded. for her to ignore the firestorm around the fact her husband posted about beating up trans women - a firestorm that was noticed by even non-Lana fans - was really hurtful to me and everyone probably noticed that in the wedding thread. i ended up getting over that in the naive hope she maybe told him why that wasn't okay. so if she goes ahead and disses Ethel and brings up her trans status in any way would make me think she endorsed that kind of thing her husband posted and...I don't think I could listen to her music and not associate it with anti-trans violence, esp since I've lost a lot of friends to it.

I really hope that "All About Ethel" isn't a real song and that if it is, it's not actually about Ethel Cain.
 
Given "So Legit"'s really fucked up lyrics ("You're looking like a man"), the fact her husband fantasizes about violently attacking trans women and Lana being completely okay with that, and dissing a prominent trans woman artist? As both a trans woman AND a Lana stan since she came out (as LDR)...I would be really, really devastated if she opted to diss Ethel using transphobia. I don't think it would end her career but I do think I might stop listening to her altogether.
 
If it's just a diss song that makes no reference to her being trans, that's fine though. But...I am concerned.
