That's a pic of Titanic. I'm sure of it.
-
Look at 1:38. The two reflections on the right are Titanic (with turtleneck to obscure his adam's apple, and probably tweezed eyebrows), and it may be Moriah sitting there and reflected on the left. I wonder how long they've been doing this! omg... Look at :26 There's stuff hidden in the captions too. Look at :35 and turn on captions. HOW MANY POPPYS ARE THERE?!?!?

I think some of these shots are Titanic dressed as Poppy?

What fans would accuse Lana of being an MPDG? I am honestly confused by this description. This is interesting. People see "contradictions" when you're trying to figure out how you feel. I'm glad she's determined to go in a constructive direction now, toward greater happiness. (But I hope she doesn't feel pressured to be only "positive" all the time ) I love this. I think that before you can know if you can trust someone, you sort of have to develop the courage to put it all out there and see what they do with it. That gets easier, I guess, as you get older. Hmm. I actually think I agree with this (with reservations). A lot of us are taught not to prioritize happiness... and it's true that a More-Better-Now mentality can stress everyone out... but that doesn't mean happiness isn't important. You need a certain baseline to stay functional. Some people who mean well can unwittingly pressure others to try to be "content" with being miserable. And those who benefit from "the system" obviously have a lot to gain from telling everyone else to suck it up. So yeah, I think we need to go back in the direction of seeking out what makes us whole people. (But to an extent it's a pendulum that can swing too far in either direction.) I think she's saying it would be difficult to get people to see how our futures are interconnected, if she was the only person who saw it. But luckily there are plenty of people who aren't on board with the "Trump'll fix it" bullshit. (They're harder to find where I live. But now I'm feeling more hopeful about seeking them out.) Using that Introverted iNtuition! I knew this lady's no INFP They've got more rhythm.

We've actually got a lot of new stuff over the last year. While we wait for the mixtape, let's share our recent Charli playlists! I admit I was underwhelmed by most of the Vroom Vroom tracks before I put this together. Before I experienced them as annoying. Now they're like exciting punctuation marks

Overall, a great article. I sort of went through this five years ago, though. Living in a Republican-dominated county under an Obama administration, there was so much backlash against anything with the faintest hint of liberalism. Lana's music was a great comfort to me then. Sometimes the surest step toward clarity is simply looking around and saying, "This makes no sense." I actually suspect that under a Trump administration, conservative pockets will tend to relax a little now. I'm just trying not to grow complacent in response. As for "National Anthem," I think of the first verse as the young, inexperienced party-girl-wannabe, and things don't get overtly sexual until the second verse. Of course the situation is ripe for "road head," so the article writer's interpretation is certainly plausible. But I don't think it's "about" that. It's okay, though, I think, to take liberties with artistic interpretation. (In fact, I wish many fake news peddlers/commentators would stick to more artistic pursuits, where reasoning that begins and ends with inductive analysis is more appropriate... don't even get me started... )
