If I wasn't so used to hearing John Lennons voice, I probably would feel the same way, lol. But having grown up with a lot of Beatles and Lennon, hearing how similar Seans voice and singing style is to his father, gives the song a lot of nostalgic value. And the melody is just so pretty

If I wasn't a fan already "Tomorrow never came" would have made me one for sure. Lana at her heartbroken best.

Lanas adlibs during Rockys verse >>>> prechorus for me It's not that I don't like the rest of the song, her melodies just sound a little too much like they're riffed off old demos or something and it's 5 BMP too slow imo. But her voice is heavenly as per usual and no one else could get away with singing about wanting to f*** a rockstar in the style of a lullaby. Queen <3 Rockys verse just has a more interesting melodies and rythmics to me and Lana's adlibs works really well, I'm hope she'll do that more in the future.

Or listening to Honeymoon in broad daylight, clear blue skies with a few clouds, walking down the mid suburb sidewalks, trees to the side, as a cool breeze ushers you close to home.

Are you telling me that Lana and A$ap are teaming up again to repent their sins?? (Of course referring to the final version of Ridin' that they snubbed us for).

My thoughts go out to the victims and their families in Manchester and the Philliphines being affected right now. What a sad couple of days
In regard to the Islam debate, I think that we can and SHOULD criticize Islam as a belief system/ideology, as it is absolutely part of the problem, with fundamentalist terrorism.
You can't read this and say that Islam isn't connected to the radicalization of the perpetrator:
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/may/23/manchester-arena-attacker-named-salman-abedi-suicide-attack-ariana-grande
As Ayaan Hirsi Ali said so well: No mono-theistic religion is a religion of peace. They all contain the seed of violence as they divide people into categories and claim the truth.
Criticizing Islam as an oppressive structure is not the same as criticizing every single muslim practicing their faith, many of whom are victims of terrorism themselves. Saying that there currently is a greater need for seculiarization within Islam than Christianity and Judaism is not the same as saying that Christianity and Judaism hasn't been (or still aren't) oppressive structures as well.

LOVE video = STUNNING

But the tracks LOVE, Lust for Life and Coachella (Woodstock on my mind) are sadly not doing a lot for me

You know what really hurts?
Some of those kids probably attended the concert on their birthdays or something. Just heading there to have a good time, be with friends etc. And some cunt comes along and destroys lives so carelessly. My thoughts are with everyone there tonight. This is fucked ip beyond belief.

I wanna say it's a little nod to the Shangri-Las/girl group vibe she's going for-- the Shangri-Las' famous hit "Leader of the Pack" is about a girl's motorcyclist boyfriend who dies in a crash. Plus, she semi-references the Angels' hit "My Boyfriend's Back" in the lyrics.
