That is what I wanted. I just knew Lana was going to give us fierce cult glamour teas. Oh, well. While the video does leave a whole lot to be desired, she is still, without a doubt, my favorite music bitch. Even with its blandness, the video conveys the darkness I always crave from Lana.
 
And not for nothing, but no other music diva, other than Bey can emote for all of their life, to the most bland of music. She is a natural actress. She was giving me face, expression, and feeling. And her face, it is surgically SNATCHED. She looked amazing.

UV is perfect as is, but I don't want her to work with Dan as a producer again. You know how all Black Keys songs sound the same? (Like reject White Stripes songs) I don't need that for Lanz 

Tbh sometimes it's weird to stan for her ~~~dangerous girl personality and experiences, because in her songs she seems so wild and crazy and her real life seems nothing like that   She probably was very wild in her past but we know so little about it...
 
 
Also she needs to write an autobiography (I doubt she'll ever do it tho lol) and answer the most important questions of the generation: Was she a go-go dancer in Alabama?2?? OK, I have a confession to make.  I'm not sure if it should be here or in its own new topic, but here goes.
 
I watched the videos of Lana's Saturday Night Live performance from 2012.  I thought she did great!  She did seem a little nervous during the first part of Video Games, but that came through more in her actions and movements (or lack thereof) than in her voice.  I thought her voice was still strong, and she didn't hit any out-of-tune notes (as a musician with perfect pitch, I'd know!).  Then, for Blue Jeans, she seemed a little more "warmed up."  The word "burn" in the first verse came out a little strong -- maybe the mic was too close -- but other than that, I thought she performed quite admirably.  And the audience cheered for her.  I wish I knew where all the hate for this performance is coming from.

Same here ! I love a lot or tracks on Ultraviolence but BTD will always be my fav (the songs, the look, the videos, ...)

I still prefer BTD over UV and always will. It's a hands down choice for me.
