we obviously can't trust any tracklist that doesn't have live or die on it

WITH YOU GUYS. I still am praying that this is not just a soundcheck but actually a subtle showcasing of one of the intended songs for Ultraviolence. It is literally the best fourteen seconds of my life and I cannot handle the power of this fantasy.

I wonder about this too. She said in a really old interview in 2012 that she does what SHE wants in the studio and simply doesn't work with people who interfere with her vision because she has very precise ideas about what she wants the songs to be like.
And also there is that video where she yells at someone while she is with fans like: "Leave me alone I'm fucking signing things! Let me do it" Or something along those lines and she comes on really strong. So I think she has a tough side we just don't see it often.

Apparently, Chuck and Daddy Grant told some fans that she is well-along with the record.
There was a thread about this before the Tropico release, maybe about 2 weeks ago or something like that...the same thread in which it was mentioned that Lana has a habit of sleeping a lot

Well, with the picture of Dan Heath and now heading to Europe with her guitarist, she is probably much further in the process of recording Ultraviolence than we think.

they give him what he wants - the attention. The fact that he started writing lyrics on instagram. Lol if he was Ultraviolence´s writer im SURE he wouldnt be so aloud.

I can't keep up with this thread anymore. You guys are stalking Edward like there's no tomorrow...It's fucking insane! I know you all want the new album and a lot of you are really thrilled about the possible inclusion of some of Lana's old and unreleased songs, but don't get too excited. Nothing has been confirmed, yet.
I was getting really excited when Cola was "announced" as a single and look what happened. Now my disappointment actually surpasses my excitement
I don't want you guys to experience the same thing me and some other members had to go through.
So keep calm until we get some reliable information.

After being trolled before in a different fan base by some guy who was able to get his name added to writing credits on songwriting databases and was actually able to upload a fake song to iTunes under the artist's name, I'm skeptical of this. It's really easy to fake these things just by sounding important.

Not saying there isn't any truth to this (although, the wanting writing credits in youtube video descriptions seems weird), but I don't think you should question the validity of Lana's writing because of him.

Those Instagram lyrics sound like badly written fan lyrics from an info blog.

Well I compared his Twitter feed and his Instagram feed and here's what I got:

Obviously songwriting was something that he's been wanting to do for a long time and he's happy to get his big break. I think he's a legit person and I'm happy that he got to realise his dream.

I'm guessing he's in New York to work with Lana. Because from this point on, whenever he's in NY he tweets Lana-esque lines.

I'm not totally sure if they are all Lana, but I have a feeling that at least two or three are. Since he's just gotten his big break I'm sure he's not writing for nore than one person at the same time. I think he's definitely focused on Lana and her music. A while later, he actually tweets Lana lyrics and mentions Lana:

Then he posts a whole set of lyrics on his Instagram on the same day as that tweet (with a photo of Roses): "I know I like him, hes the bestest, my mind cant keep up to his pace. Babes my small time ganster, one touch sets my oxy glossy eyes in a spin. The minutes fall to pieces, baby forget our lives, innocense is a thing of the past. Its down to a wire, gotta get to the other side. Take my body, finish this young loves race"

No activity again until April where he posts this on his Instagram. Not sure if it's Lana but anything's possible: "All the flight in you, all the shit you put me through, all this trouble chasing heaven, it's done. The lights have all blown out, the time is burning up, babe I'm through with you. #Timechain 11/12/13"

Had you only credited him in the description... Don't fuck with the UMG peeps!
  21. my ol man isa batman liked a post in a topic by DUKE in Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
If this is true... he's a fucking idiot. Like, this is an unreleased song that emerged somehow on the internet, and little to nothing is known about it. He's acting like his name wasn't included in liner notes of an official release. I understand his need to have his work credited, but messaging random YouTube users seems a little, I don't know, desperate?

Not sure if his repetitive mentioning of 'UMG' is due to pretentiousness or desperate emphasis on his unmentioned writing credit. Really, shame on you for not including it in your fan video on YouTube! How dare you!   Also, what about Alexander Stoden? Not important enough to be credited as a writer in your video, as implied by Mr Co-Writer Out of Nowhere?

    Then again:

    Basically this, yes.

I wonder if he sent this exact message to the ASCAP...

But really, you never know with Lana...

She jokingly talked about the idea of releasing a collection of those songs entitled The Leaked Sessions in May. Who knows... maybe that idea did now turn into a collection called Ultraviolent since those songs have been ultraviolently stolen.

    I'm obviously kidding.
