After those two full emotional days, here are my thoughts this morning (not that anyone wants them, but still): - Im kinda glad now that I don’t spend a lot of time listening to demos and even leaks. Of course there are some I love, but it’s mostly songs that I feel are « finished ». I honestly feel we don’t know nothing about our beloved albums anymore - UV and I’m sure LFL are the two eras that have the best leftovers / outtakes - to whoever wishes Lana sits on an album and not rush it before releasing it: BoZ brought up the fact that there are some amazing songs from 2016 that never were on LFL. - I wanted to hear Dark City so bad but knowing it’s an unfinished song: - I now want the final Fine China on an official album so bad

Simpler way: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TJ0yxvS0DOpSbZd2a7vxbOKxE9QWGzammKdShB9eRzg/mobilebasic one kind soul compiled all the tea / responses from BoZ. I’m calling this the new bible.

Serene Queen bottom of the barrel?!? I mean, what was left in the vault?!?!

I didn’t think that leakers actually had to EDIT songs before leaking them No wonder it takes sometimes so much time to get a decent leak.

WoW i am gagged Although the organs on Your Girl always sounded cheap to me… but Fine China being fake?

Thanks!! I hadn’t heard it in a while and forgot how beautiful it was (although this is surely pretty much the whole song)

Completely off topic, but the Malibu demo she recorded and scrapped, she said it was way too personal for her to have it on an album. I wonder how she feels now, after all those very personal songs she put out since.

It was in that interview that @keps2013 posted that she talked about RBFY being considered an intro for LFL. She did post herself listening to it at the end of 2017, on her ldr IG account. Some say it sounded a bit different, I’m not sure about that (rework? Final version?)

The more I hear or learn about outtakes and leftovers, the more I think the only two albums that have, IMO, outtakes as good as the songs on the album or even better are UV and LFL. Sure, some tracks are cute, some demo are nice but they never match the songs of their album… except for UV and LFL (I wish she’d release a b-side album to UV )

I think he used all of my patience for her to reuse songs or rerelease them with Yosemite and Life Is Beautiful But I must say that the outtakes from Bb were a great surprise

I do come here everyday and many times a day and the way I’m still learning some unreleased track titles

I am so glad there aren’t really bombastic songs from NFR sleeping on a shelf somewhere or in Jack’s hard drive, this has bugged me for three albums now

I am living for all of that was debunked today Honeymouns was wrong… (kinda makes sense that Fine China wasn’t reworked : it is already so wonderful and even though I love Dan, I don’t know what « more » he would have brought to that song) there are no damn no bombastic tracks left off NFR (so we can finally stop praying for those), but we now have a couple of titles or leftovers that are truly worth our time I’m not the only one that hates i Talk to Jesus

@BlackoutZone thanks for all the answers!!!! You are a legend

It’s a tough article to read, these days. Not that that interview was superbly conducted at all, but we’ve come a long way on how we talk about mental health. No way that some questions would be asked today. And I don’t want to give a complete absolution to Lana either: she had been misquoted or said problematic stuff in some interviews, there were rumours about her not wanting to tour, plus that interview was after UV (we still had no idea who she really was at that time, if she was this destructive girl that would burn out or if her albums were only a part of her and not the whole thing)
