But watch vinyls and CDs being sent early just like BB That new cover is iconic AF and it also creates a very beautiful triptych with the standard cover and the white vinyl (fuck I am glad I settled on that one to purchase and not the coloured covers, even though it was the cover I liked the least at first). As for the tracklist, well, our insiders didn’t lie! what was Lana’s grandmother’s name who passed away? My mind immediately went to this when I saw the Margaret title (a very Taylor thing for Lana to do, by the way ). Love Paris, Texas as a title. I’ll have to check what Fishtail could be about (you analyzed it this week at length). Let the light in, with FJM, references some of his songs where he says that line (in Anthem). Taco Truck X VB still has me The taco truck part is camp AF and cool I guess, but they better channel VB differently, so it doesn’t sound like a « 2.0 »

Oh yeah, I now get what you mean! The visuals sure are perfect for the title track, but we’ll have to see if it fits with the rest of the album… And I’m very curious about the angry side of this album, if it’s that much present.

I really Love those two, but if it’s one of the two, I hope it’s really reworked because I find it a bit meh that the « only » trippy Lana elements in a song would have to come from those two However, the outro of MAC, reworked, longer… fuck that’d be great

Based on what BoZ said, this album is about a girl that has been hurt, that is in search of guidance. I make of it that the lyrics are honest, personal… like someone journaling. There are also some sexy lyrics apparently (title tracks has some references already). On the covers, she is in her bedroom, as if the album is the thoughts in her head, as if journaling. The ocean pics, I take that there are some ocean references and vibes, like Neil suggested. As for the industrial pictures, this is where I don’t know yet where they stand. there are many grand, cinematographic arrangements in the album apparently, and the whole concept of referencing a Natalie Wood 60s movie could be about. at least, this is what I make of it at the moment. the standard cover is my fave since day one. I wasn’t sure as of which other variant to buy (I kept switching all the time), but I settled for the white vinyl from her store because of the intimate vibes of it and because it’s the only textless cover, which complements the standard one so well.

It’s impossible Interscope will have only one single before release, especially with the first single out just before the holidays and with a 3 month+ pre-release period. They have to release another single before that, if only to remind the GP that the album is coming. Even Chemtrails had two singles out before the album. As for MV… one is possible. Maybe it will be another BB situation, with another MV out for Ocean Blvd when the album is out.

January 25 marks the middle point between the preorder + title track release and the album release. A second single release would be a logical thing to do, Lana. Just saying.

But when is that gonna be? maybe she is withholding the tracklist to have another post / « event » in the promo… and probably to try to avoid leaks (it’s easier to look up for songs when we know their titles). but let’s face it: the guessing game with leakers has been fun… until this week. Right now, I don’t feel like any tea from the insiders is needed anymore, we just need something official Im so not hyped anymore that I don’t even know how I feel about songs that could be called Fishtails or Kitsugi, to be honest.

Im having a big Hope is a dangerous thing revival these days (perfect January song 🎶) and the homemade video is one of her best IMo. It is so intimate. A well-made homemade one could very well do the trick in this era… alongside a high-budget one (Rich Lee, where are you when we need you the most?)
