Don’t be so hard on yourself, sweetie I, too, only figured it out like a month ago. and I just realized, last week, that the album covers were working in pairs: - standard mirrors the HMV / Target pink one (same blue ish-grey filter); - the Amazon one mirrors the indie one (both coloured, with green and pink); - the white vinyl mirrors the boxset cover (both B&W, with a similar filter and both textless).

I’ve seen they were gone… but can someone update me on that one? I missed something this weekend. i don’t want Kintsugi to be gone, but I don’t want to know about the songs anymore, now that we have the tracklist and the song length.

Yeah, it kinda hurts, to be back at that mark… Something needs to happen.

Lol what were they expecting? I’ll say this again, not that I ever believed it would happen, but if they wanted the album to remain a surprise, it needed to be out on streaming like in December, with preorders for the physicals. They know it leaked, and I’m actually surprised it hasn’t circulated more than that, tbh.

I’m 100% sure there will be some kind of tour, if only for the postponed/cancelled dates of the NFR tour

Depends. With Lana, they were right about the title track being released in December. so, I tend to think it’s possible. The other « insider » accounts, I don’t follow anymore cause they’ve been wrong about Lana all the time.

I’m not 100% sure, but wasn’t LFL the last era from her with preorders and bundles counting for week 1? but I could be completely wrong.

Vinyls count in numbers when they are sent. If they move the release date up, it means her numbers for week one would be from streaming alone… Edit: I thought NFR followed those rules, but it began with COCC for her (since June 2020)

Although I think a number 2 spot is more plausible, I wouldn’t rule out a number 1 spot completely yet… if everyone is playing their cards right. Physical copies count for a good chunk of the official numbers and her vinyls really seem to be selling well. But they need to be sent at the right time, for week one. As for streaming, if the albums has a lot of buzz and it’s a week without any other big releases, streamings could be good. Not very likely, but if there is some sort of preorder for the boxset available on release day, it could boost her numbers even more so.

TBH, I WISH I had taken a day off when the title track for this album was out: it was one of the worst days of the year at work, I barely had time to listen to the damn song once on my lunch break. BoZ was spilling a lot and there were so many vinyls / products to buy / to consider buying. i really do prefer when anything Lana-related happens on a day off.

Lol the black narcissist line now seems so innocent and cute, now that we had QFTC I honestly never thought that line from Hope was problematic, and neither did the critics. but I remember that some here were worried she’d get cancelled lol As for the cover, I thought it was okay: not her best, not her worst (Picsart selfies, anyone?), but somehow « fitting » with the song.

I honestly don’t think it will be the case. The album is done, in production, and all. If there are more vinyl production delays, I don’t think Interscope will push back the album again, they probably will just go with « we did what we can, let’s see how streams do and vinyls will count in the next weeks »

And she was also sending very « mixed signals » right after VB was out, by posting A LOT of snippets. I guess she wanted to let us in on her creative process, but we thought the snippet game was just like in the LFL era, when she started doing that when she was finishing up the album with her initial comment that she wanted Norman to be out top of the year, I was sure we’d get NFR way sooner than we did. And when she started doing interviews, it was for her Gucci campaign or her poetry, not even mentioning the album.

Absolutely not. we got, from her, the official tracklist and the new cover from the boxset. and at the beginning of January, BoZ spilled a LOT of info about passed eras/albums. And let’s not forget the divine intervention of our new bestie, Kintsugi, spilling each week new info. hardly a dry month, even though the era seems stalled at the moment (it’s been the same since LFL, when the lead is out and nothing official is happening)

In-fucking-deed! i really don’t mind radio silence or even problematic posts when they are between albums. but once an era is officially started, with a lead or even a first snippet, it’s really hard to be patient then. maybe this is expérience talking, and although I don’t like this absence of news now, we can’t say it’s unusual: since LFL, there’s always a dead silence period after the lead is out, where the rollout seems to have stalled and paused. This era ain’t different.

I used to pray and manifest a lot for Loved you then and now… until BoZ hinted it wasn’t all that, that it was very stripped back. I don’t hate COCC at all, but it might not be ready yet to hear one of its outtake haha. I want the bigger production of this album first.

I find it funny that this album still doesn’t have the total duration while others already show it upon pre-release
