I really prefer American Whore as a title as opposed to A&W We have yet to hear that damn song, but just the lyrics « This is the experience of being an American Whore » really feel like a strong statement and anything else sorta « downplays » it a bit? I didn’t mind Cinnamon being renamed Cinnamon Girl even if it didn’t make any sense with the song apart from the reference to the Neil Young title. But I hope A&W makes sense and is not just there for censorship

Haha not us trying to guess their breakup date I’m not sure if it’s even possible to pinpoint an exact date, since her breakups never seem to be « clean » (didn’t Barrie learn she had broken up with him in an interview? Did Clay respond « I don’t know » when he was asked by someone on socials if they were still together?) I kinda associated all the love songs of COCC to her relationship with Sean, and so always thought Breaking Up Slowly was about him. Anyways, back to a possible single release date / breakup with Sean date: one thing is for sure, they weren’t going strong by Jan-February…

Maybe there is a big date related to Sean coming in the next weeks (engagement anniversary? Wedding anniversary? First time they met?) ? If so, it’s be a good moment to release a single
