From what I remember, LDR Village popped up with the release of Chemtrails (March 19, 2021) and while I do remember we found it early before they announced it officially, I'm sure that Lana shared it on social media too I searched through my emails and these seem to be the first emails I ever recieved from LDR Village/about LDR Village. This one was sent directly from their email (I don't remember if I signed up for the email list or if they just sent it to me lol) The second email is sent from Lana's official UK store (I can't find the US one for some reason) announcing the release of Chemtrails and while a lot of the images won't load anymore, there is one for LDR Village that shows that it is in fact an official merch store There are other things that connect the two and prove that LDR Village was once an official store of Lana's, like the fact that she did the DNC photoshoot with the director of LDR Village and that they sold a design she made for Ocean Blvd (pink "u don't understand me" hoodie) but also that they provided merch for pop up events that were advertised by her and that she was supposed to attend. The pop up events for Chemtrails and for Ocean Blvd were both advertised by her, for example and she posted on Instagram stories (I think) that she wanted to go to them but it was too busy or something lol ultimately, I think that whatever happened with LDR Village happened very recently, sometime after March/the release of Ocean Blvd I agree that tap management should do more though, but maybe they thought it was shut down after the Ocean Blvd release? Maybe LDR Village bringing back the Surf Shop merch was just them trying to get rid of stock before they shut down for good but Tap sent them a cease and desist and they can't fulfill orders now? Idk

I finally saw the movie last night and I really liked it! I love that we got to see this story from Priscilla's perspective, especially after the Elvis movie that came out last year Since the movie is based on Priscilla's memoir, I kinda wanna read it now to see how similar it is lol

I got my towel and I would say its a bit thin, but definitely a towel material, unlike the LDR Village towels that were more like a blanket material lol I do think for $50 it could be better quality, but the design is really nice and the colors are very vibrant too!

Thats true, and she's had time to come out and clear things up if her name really did end up on the wrong letter so idk...I hope Tommy Genesis or someone else talks to her about this though

I'm not sure if someone already shared this but apparantly Emma Seligman said that her name mistakenly ended up on that letter and that she meant to sign the other one...I wonder if the same thing happened with Lana and some of the other celebrities that signed it

I'm happy to see all the protests happening around the world this weekend and hundreds of thousands of people showing up, even on Roblox! There's been huge protests happening in Washington D.C. every day for the past few weeks too, its really great to see

well I'm glad to see people are mentioning it in classrooms now but when I was in school they barely ever taught us about anything that happened post 9/11 But going back to the letter, I think a lot of Americans (Lana included) just don't know much about this situation. I think its possible a lot of the people who signed the letter didn't fully read it or just heard a summary of what was in it

Just to explain a few things: Gaza is the world's largest open air prison, they really have no government or resources, or anything close to what Isreal has so this situation is not equal in the slightest The last election Palestinians had was in 2006, and that is how Hamas came into power but they are more like a gang than an actual military group or government 40% of Palestinians are 18 years and younger, so they had no say in this election Israel was formed on top of Palestine, which stole land from the Palestinians and forced them back and back until they have barely anything now. People are kicked out of their own homes for Israeli settlers to live in, many of them coming from the United States. In their government and law system they are not seen as equal to Israelis and Israel has been killing them and causing them to suffer for 70+ years So, Palestinians just want to live and they want their land and homes back, while Israel sees them as a threat to their "state's" existence and respond by constantly bombing and killing them. Many countries around the world recognize Israel's occupation of Palestine as illegal as well These are things I wish they would teach us in school in the US, but the US is also very involved with Israel so

I'm not saying Lana is doing any of those things, I know she means well and has done a lot to support humanitarian causes and I agree it's over-exaggerating when people claim she's just as bad as the ones doing the killing, but I do think there are definitely celebrities out there that do not mean well and have some pretty backwards views that can cause a lot of harm. But just to be clear, I wasn't talking about Lana in this case lol

I think its because if you support someone by listening to their music, buying their albums/merch, giving them money etc. and that person takes that money and donates it to a political party or foundation that is actively trying to take away your rights then why would you want to support that person? Not to mention that they may influence a whole new generation of people to be sexist, homophobic, racist, etc. and giving people like that more of a platform only means that more hate and discrimination will be spread.

This is very disappointing...especially after she had previously canceled a show in Isreal because she couldn't also have a show for Palestinians during La to the Moon I think most celebrities just have no idea whats actually going on and share the first things they see thats trending online to be performative but this whole letter is just embarrassing

The more I listen to this song, the more I love it I know I'll be playing it all fall/winter lol

I like it, something about it feels very fall/winter and I think it would have fit nicely on Chemtrails or BB

Just got back home and wow Lana was amazing I love that black dress too, it looks so beautiful in person and cameras really don't pick up her sparkly makeup but I could see it on the big screens and its so pretty! And she was wearing a sparkly headband that had a moon and sun on it - so witchy! I'm so happy we got some surprise songs (including the return of Venice bitch) and the only thing I miss was Blue Jeans, but otherwise it was perfect! I'm so happy I got to see her again, I can't believe its been 5 years since I saw for La to the Moon The festival was pretty messy though and I wish the vip sections were more in the middle instead of off to one side. Like I was close to the stage but because of the angle, I couldn't see too much and I'm also not really sure what the point of having a designated section for vips was if they were just gonna let anyone in So many of the food stands ran out of food too like how lol
