  1. my thoughts... firstly, i wish the interludes had actual titles paris, texas is a GREAT title, really excited about that one let the light in sounds like such a fake title, i kinda hate it for that i'm very intrigued by the last track's title lastly, i'm so tired of the ugly, weird capitalization
  2. a masterpost of masterposts...?
  3. this is really random but who's the third person in your signature? i recognize everybody else lol
  4. Dark Angel

    Song vs. Song

super movie vs. your band is all the rage
  5. are you saying that gods and monsters puts you to sleep...?
  6. the dark theme needs to be official
  7. yes, if the actual title was "on & on & on" it would've made my list
  8. @Glitter Boy you aren't allowed to post the title of that song here so you should edit that one out
  9. rest in peace it seems like so many people are dying as of lately, i remember @prettywhenimhigh said something about other public figures passing away "the world is changing" it stuck with me
  10. i've never heard of it officially being "everyman gets his wish" it has been registered as "every man has his wish", but i would not consider "everyman gets his wish" to be the actual, most accurate title lol
  11. although coca cola is the official title, i miss knowing it as my song 57, it fit the song so well, weirdly enough
  12. bellevue isn't really a word, more so a name for cities/towns, as well as a mental hospital
  13. i also feel like dragonslayer should be separated because it looks better, but for the record, dragonslayer is an actual word (i think?) i feel the same way about dreamgirl and strangelove
  14. i like this title but is textbook supposed to be separated? that's always bothered me a little i was thinking of putting oooh baby, the alt. title "pants for me" is even worse i love nectar of the gods as a title but i also don't feel like it fits the song, i preferred wild on you
  15. something that makes lana's music unique is her interesting song titles, many of them are good, but some of them... may not be her best, list your least favorite lana song titles here! here's mine: 24 (it's not terrible, it's just... a number... it could've been so much more interesting) in my feelings (just... no...) fuck it i love you (doesn't feel like a classic lana del rey song title... it's just one i don't like that much) the next best american record (it should've just been "best american record", it sounds better) the greatest (basically the same reason as fuck it i love you) did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd (WAY too much going on, it should've just been "there's a tunnel under ocean boulevard" or maybe even "ocean boulevard", also, i don't like the fact that she shortened it to "blvd") i think that's it!
  16. just keep it in your lizzy grant albums, i don't think we ever got a clear answer as to whether or not the "elvis" on the tracklist was the same elvis, if so, it's very likely that they re-recorded it and probably changed it up, maybe one day we'll get a 2012 version of elvis, lol
  17. i dislike interludes, ESPECIALLY when they're not really listenable, maybe artists add them onto albums to tell some sort of story, but i just feel like they're taking up space where another actual song could be, this seems like something tinashe does a lot, it's so stupid, i was listening through "dirt" by alice in chains yesterday, there's some great stuff on that album, but there's this 44-second interlude called "untitled" which doesn't seem to serve any purpose to me, at least "horse latitudes" by the doors has some sort of spoken-word piece but it'd still never listen to it
  18. never let me go and on our way, cute, sweet, road-trip song vibes
  19. this is one i've heard! it really is great, amazing lyrics as well
  20. lately i've been making a conscious effort to really dive into the discographies of grunge bands, starting off with the big 4, besides nirvana because i'm already familiar with everything they've put out, i was familiar with a few songs from soundgarden, pearl jam, and alice in chains, but now i'm going through all of their albums and eventually i'll have to dive into the side-projects, such as audioslave, or temple of the dog, and as well as b-sides, demos, and other various rarities these are the albums i've listened to so far, as well as my favorite tracks from each album badmotorfinger by soundgarden (jesus christ pose, searching with my good eye closed) superunknown by soundgarden (black hole sun, limo wreck, 4th of july, like suicide) ten by pearl jam (even flow, alive, jeremy, oceans, release) dirt by alice in chains (rain when i die, rooster, angry chair) don't worry, i've already listened through the earlier soundgarden albums, which i may have to do again because i only like "flower" from ultramega ok, and i only like a few songs off of louder than love (ugly truth, hands all over, loud love), i may have a different perception of those earlier tracks now that i'm more familar with their work, i have also listened to facelift by alice in chains already as well the next album i'll listen to is going to be down on the upside by soundgarden
