possibly? i think there’s a bit of a western/rural influence, but that sound would be heavenly for ldr9
-
i mean, technically there is no lyrics for the album version because it was cut out, but it seems like she’s supposed to be saying “for amy & for whitney” because that’s what she sings live, there’s nothing that would suggest otherwise

everybody here is frothing at the mouth at the thought of country/country-esque music as if fordham road, queen of the gas station, pawn shop blues, elvis, your band is all the rage, mariner’s apartment complex, & her covers of the end of the world, summer wine, & roadhouse blues don’t exist you were ALL stanning for prettiest girl in country music, i haven’t forgotten

i am now currently reading the prequel of the casteel series, “web of dreams”, i’m half-way through it, as you can tell i’m quite the procrastinator with books & i often take long breaks when it comes to reading i like this one! i think it’s very well-written & formatted compared to “gates of paradise”, i’m convinced that v.c andrews had more outlines for this book which would make more sense, since it’s the prequel & in a way, sets the stage for the first book (which she did write) i still have plenty of v.c andrews books available to read, but some other books i’d like to read are carrie, by stephen king, lolita (of course, being aware that it’s pretty much a psychological horror) as well as poetry books, such as sylvia plath, edgar allan poe, & jim morrison

honestly i kinda love the “plastic bag” lyrics she shared, they’re so different & i’m curious what the rest of the song is like, either it will end up being on the album, or it will leak in 2047

we both know, that it’s not fashionable to love me
-
dark, mysterious, gorgeous, earnest, the perfect love song 🖤

if she released an album which was entirely acoustic guitar with some really great, thought-provoking lyricism, like sirens, i think that would be excellent, i love acoustic guitar & some of my favorite lana songs are her acoustic guitar songs even of her more recent songs which are mostly acoustic guitar are lovely, such as nawwal & yosemite

Lana's diction and incomprehensible lyrics

so… in “a star for nick” is she saying ”you’re so alive back in the country-side” or ”you saw life back in the country-side” honestly i really like both interpretations -
Lana's diction and incomprehensible lyrics

i think it’s “my ribbons are knots” either way, it’s some sort of variation of that when she performs the song she does a gesture with her wrists so i feel like that further confirms that -
specifically a new rick nowels song but i hope there’s more of his production, a return to form
-
i don’t think people realize how traumatic being famous can be, just because she’s rich doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to feel upset about all of the hate & ridicule she’s received ever since she’s become famous, her lack of privacy, & people stalking her
-
i predict that we will see some production from rick nowels let’s hope!

the release of “smells like teen spirit”

i love it when she acknowledges her past, these old music videos are iconic
