I LOVED it at first listen. I'm actually pretty late when it came to really understanding/loving Prince, but ohmygod I was watching this one doc video on yt, and it just came to Prince performing in the rain for the Super bowl, and it was loveeeee. The caress of that song, just. So beautiful 

Purple Rain to me is one of the best songs of all time, I listen to it at least once a week, mostly on Youtube as I like to see it  being performed :defeated:

3 of my most played songs are Chief Keef songs from about 2012-2013 I have a playlist of about 10 of his songs that I play all the time though.

The greatest video game music is GTA Vice City if it counts since its real songs...
 

Unpopular opinion - but I actually don't miss the glamour at all. UV is my fav era in manyfold ways but for a great part because she shifted to a very natural, casual way to dress emphasized by bold makeup that make it feel both incredibly down to earth and relatable and still very feminine and mysterious. I will always prefer adidas leggings leather jacket Lana to big hair high heels short dress Lana
 
It's very interesting and very out of topic though, but I wonder why most gay men who are fans of Lana prefer her ultrafeminine glamorous appearances

I remember an interview with Chuck that said she laughed at Lana becoming a "style icon" because she actually has no sense of fashion.. I think she just doesn't have a stylist and throws on whatever now, and doesn't really care
