Olivia Lufkin (stage name: OLIVIA) has finally released her (almost full) past catalog on streaming platforms after asking her on social media for more than a decade to finally make the songs available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and other services. For those curious about who she is, is a bilingual artist on the cutting edge, sub-label of avex trax. OLIVIA was born in Okinawa, but has lived in the U.S. for roughly six years. Her music sound goes from experimental/alternative rock pop music to electronic music. She's better known for singing the ending theme song to the anime adaptation to Yazawa Ai's manga NANA, "a little pain". She released a full length album for the music played by Reira, one of the anime main characters. Anna Tsuchiya, in the other hand, released an album for the other main character: Nana. Sadly, she still has no unique artist page on Spotify and her music catalog is scattered in two different Olivia's artists pages, one for an R&B singer named "Olivia" and other one for another singer named "OLIVIA". Also, her NANA music is in a third artist page named "OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST)". There are two mini albums yet to upload on streaming services, but almost everything else is now available. If you are into J-Pop with alternative rock influences, this artist is made for you. Rumor has it that she's making a comeback this year with her first music release since 2012's release of "CALLING -KINDGOM MIX-" for the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance soundtrack. So... Halsey has re-released her latest album twice already (tomorrow actually) and she has re-released some of her albums too with extra goodies. Why can't Capitol or Sky do the same when they know she has a big fanbase? Rerelease "As If" with extra tracks. Rerelease "Ghost" with extra tracks. Rerelease "NTMT" with the B-Sides tracks and a couple of new songs. Is it that hard? It's not like they are losing money on promo lol but every stream will earn them money. So it's a win win for everyone including the fans.

It's a shame there are no more outtakes or the nightmare demo. But I'm very excited ♥ this album is her best.

I prefer 12 regular length tracks than just 10 with one of those songs being longer than 7 minutes.

If this is coming this year, then we would know. There are tons of insiders here and in ATRL, any of them would know if something is actually coming. But no, she's not done recording, producing and mixing songs. She's still not satisfied with the songs.

This album screams September release and yet she is fucking making us wait until October. I hate her, I need it.

She looks great but I don't buy anything she says in that interview. I just don't believe her nor trust her anyone. Won't get excited and I hope none of you get hyped again just to be let down. There's no music video. No third single yet. Don't Forget came and went, the hype died. The best she can do is announce the album and release a last single and call it a day. And move on to album number 3 (or 6 in my mental count if we count the confirmed shelved albums).

At this point we all know part of this situation is her fault. We all know the album is not finished and she has been proven a liar when it comes to the whole "the album is ready but the label won't let me release it" narrative. It's been 9 years since her last album and she had plenty of time to finish it, but this year she mentioned in many interviews that she is still not done with it and she's still trying to finish it. So, there's still no album to release. Let's stop defending her blindly, she shares the blame along with Capitol. That's the absolute truth and we all are witnesses.

Yeah, but it was meant to be released like a year or two after the NTMT as the Masochism first single. At this point and after the leak years ago I don't think she even considerate as a Masochism era song. It's more like a in between eras song, just like I Pray For Rain.

Nah, she had plenty of "I'm Not Alright" /"I Will" /"NTMT" outtakes finished (just like I'm on Top, Werewolf and Can't Say No) and ready for B-Sides Part 2. Most likely that final version was the one who was meant for the NTMT reissue planned years ago. Hopefully it will come to fruition for the 10th anniversary. This.
