Wow Stagger sounds better (different vocals and mix) from the original leak.

I like it but it just goes nowhere for me. So far this album is not as good as her debut, but it's very solid. Like it a lot.

Imagining and Hurricanes are bops. I really like Frankenstein too. Forgiveness is kinda meh...

I just can't get into her, she keeps giving me "dollar tree Caroline Polachek". I really like Afar but I'm not feeling the new single.

Pagan Poetry is perhaps her best song. The song and the video are so ahead of their time.

I'm sure they will get to that point of remaking some of those songs. I mean, they did it for the horrendous "Like Whoa".

I think we all were very confident that we were getting an album this summer. Maybe now is a fall or winter release?

The reason is that they don't feel completely happy with the result. While I do love the hothouse album, it is objectively a bad album. The songs are over produced and all the songs from it that they premiered live (Boy, 53rd Floor, Heart, Hole in the Earth, 8 Hours) sound way better than the studio versions. At this point I hope they get to rework some of them just for fun.

She went from some of the most interesting pop songs in years (when pop stars were making basic af bops) and releasing them in her four EPs... And then she went full basic indie pop. I miss Florrie so much, she was a bop genius.
