That was the problem with LFL: we got so many infos from diverse sources when she was still making the record. Her creative process is a messy one, one where she joggles a lot with ideas and goes back and forth. The less we know about it while making a record, the happier we'll be. The only set-in-stone infos are the ones she releases herself via snippets and social media updates. The rest is to be taken with a grain of salt. 

And i bet there aren't magazine interviews out yet because she doesn't want to make the same mistake she did with LFL: she did the interviews with a probable May-release date and she thought she was done. Then we know how it all went down...

She technically finished the first version of the record in January. She openly said Lennon kinda finalized the record when he added his instrumentation to TNC; once the album rollout got pushed back and the release date changed from May to July due to the leaks & probable request we lost 2-4 political tracks, Architecture, and Yosemite. She added in CWIMM, Cherry, Change, Summer Bummer, White Mustang, and IMF into early June. 
 
Yosemite was on the record until the days before the tracklist was required to be sent to Interscope

She also said YOSEMITE IS MY FAVOURITE TRACK ON LUST FOR LIFE

If she scraps Sylvia Plath I will be worse than @@salvatore is with yosemitea

exactly! -It wouldn't be on NFR and ruin the cohesiveness (although even if it was on the album it still would've been cohesive)
             -it would be still part of the era since it's quite representative as a song
             -along with stupid for feeling so happy, both would have been the best standalone, cute winter singles to carry us over the holidays
