That Soundcloud remix those 2 guys did ate all these remixes up tho lmao

i guess Alone 2.0 is kind of better but why does it not have a dance break post-chorus? i feel like it would just make the song so complete and make the mellow chorus make SOME kind of sense

I'm sorry, maybe we have different interpretations of that word, but none of these songs are remotely 'medieval' to me except Dragon's Blood  
 
The album was always based off death and past life regression sort of stuff, which you can hear in the older material before anything leaked: Death, Void, Corpse, etc. Puzzles which you mentioned even includes the line "I remember this moment from a past life". Not to mention Womb (originally recorded during After School sessions, as an idea for Melanie's then-upcoming album) is from early 2020—she began teasing 'Somewhere Between Life and Death' on Instagram that same year.

thinking about this toy chest concept when tracklist consist out of all toys related titles and every song one way or another tells is about mostly fucked up things (like rocking horse, jumprope, dollhouse etc) with some kind of a story related to her/to her character, and then toy chest would be the closing track where she cleans up from this mess trhrowing these toys in the chest u know! i May try to make a decent tracklist cuz it seems pretty interesting to me

The Charli album timeline is so fascinating to me. We know with all the hundreds of songs she made around that time that the album had at least two or three identities before the final product. And that’s not even to mention all the label pressure / stalling with monthly drops / listening parties she had with fans to hear new music and choose what songs to keep / advice from collaborators, like AG telling her to keep Official…. Like wow. It’s cool to imagine a world with an album in the vein of Click, Lucy Liu, Next Level Charli, Block. Or in the vein of Ballerina , Cigarettes & Alcohol, White Mercedes…Blame It On Your Love, Next Life, Would You… it’s just so full of character. It’s her heaviest body of work too. Sorry just wanted to appreciate that

sounds like the same one we already had with the outro from the final just tacked onto the end. you can hear at 1:56 how the outro just cuts out
