I actually don't understand, why she didn't put the release date, or at least caption "Henry is coming next week". Is she trying to surprise us or something, I don't understand her strategyðŸ˜

This is the first time I’ve slept in super late in awhile (literally 3pm dkfjdks oops), and Lana actually does something while I’m asleepÂ
I recall last album cycle, news seemed to come whenever I was napping… I guess this is a sign that my sleepy era needs to return

2 million likes in just a few hours on a post with no caption, no release date in sight, teasing a song she posted a snippet of 14 months ago. She really is that girlÂ

Yeah, I agree with you, it shouldn't matter. I grew up on classic country. As a teenager and young adult I veered as far away as I could to get away from country. Grunge, Industrial, became a raver in my 20s, then segued into DnB, Jungle, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Trip-Hop. Now as a middle-aged adult artists like Orville Peck and Charlie Crockett have reignited a fondness for old-style country music that I grew up on. I'm excited to hear Lana's take on country. I actually feel like her storytelling and singing style will fit the genre really well. Obviously, none of us know what is going on in Lana's life nowadays or what she's thinking regarding the release of TRPWS, and we know she loves to change her mind during pre-release cycles. I'm just throwing ideas against the wall in an attempt to understand why she's been so silent since announcing that two singles were on their way and TRPWS is releasing in May.

In Lana's defense, she was correct about the music industry going country. Bey dropped Cowboy Carter, Posty dropped F-1 Trillion, Calvin Harris is releasing a country album (where he's the vocalist, first single dropped today) and Chappell just released 'The Giver', her foray into country (though this may end up being just a single country-esque track and not a full album of country songs). There are other artist flipping country, but they are not as surprising such as Gwenny Gwen Gwen and Elle King. Shit, even Ringo Starr released a country album in January of this year (though, I don't consider him to be that relevant anymore.)
At this point, Lana is not ahead of the curve, as much as she is following the industry. I wonder if this shift in the music industry has made her hesitant to release a country album now. I mean, she was well aware of it when she made her comment during her acceptance speech. Maybe it's a combination of a huge change in her life (getting married) and the industry becoming oversaturated with country music nowadays.
Her silence speaks volumes though.... 'crickets'

I am wondering how this concert is going to go down as well. That said, when I look at the full lineup for Stagecoach there are some other artists that I would never associate with country or folk music; Backstreet Boys, Goo Goo Dolls, Nelly (who did release a country cross-over a decade ago) and T-Pain. None of those acts have ever released a country or folk album to my knowledge.
Does anyone know if Stagecoach is streamed live?
