And thirdly, you are not a fan if u seriously think BTD is "panned" GURRRRLLLL WHERE HAVE BEEN IN 2011-2012 every single fan knows EXACTLY Why it was panned ONLY by critcs. When I said only I mean because the album had extremely positive word of mouth which led to its huge success. Critcs couldn't stop a great album.

of course ive heard that demo, but has anyone in this forum heard A$AP Rocky's album?? His beats are awesome, fawless and nothing to compare to 'My Bitch (Ridin')'

i'd be happy if she releases a collaboration ith a great rapper like A$AP Rocky or someone that cool or underground. His beats are awesome and they've met already for the NA video.

If we get some uptempo's like Off To The Races Ill be so happy, that song is pure gold. Or even just one upbeat song like OTTR's, its a standout track.

I would probably fall asleep during track no. 3.
 
but srsly, i hope she picks up some pace and comes up with some upbeat songs. As much as I like UV, I really don't have the nerve to go through another ultraslow alberm.

I'd love to hear the demo's of UV if they sounded a lot different to what Dan did with those songs.

 Em no..She described the album as being acoustic (the verses) and Black Beauty as a single with a video in mind. That was before the demo leaked.
 
Then after she worked with Dan, she described the album as wrong and unlistenable which is true so her descriptions weren't off. 
 
When did I say Mark will bring hip hop TO THE ALBUM? But anyways, she said it will have a similar sound to that of BTD/Paradise so.   and what I really mean by saying that he has hip hop blood, you can take a listen to "rehab" or "Back To Black" despite them being "jazzy". They have distinct URBAN feel. 
 
So it don't matter what he will do: techno, electronic whatever it gon have a bit of black in all dat white.
 
And keep wishing that she'll return to the rock sound. She OVAH dat. 

I wouldn't say her "early" descriptions are off. 
 
UV wasn't supposed to be a rock album as it is now. It was suppose to be a dark, acoustic but still cinematic, spiritual album (see BB demo and Angels Forever) But of course Dan Auerbach got involved and recorded album again in the span of two weeks in nashville.
 
She describes what the record is at the moment. Also Mark involvement makes me very happy because he has hip hop in his blood just like Emile. The album won't be a snooze that's for sure and he has a massive hit right now. Things are looking good unless Lana somehow changes the executive producer once again. 

When I hear the titles we have so far I imagine 50's or 60's style girls on the hood of their car watching hot guys playing baseball during a hot California summer. I also think drive-thrus, cherry pie, coca cola, flower crowns etc.

I'm really excited now -  a new Lana album in 2015, unbelievable!
 
It seems that Lana likes to alternate her album titles - after a dark one comes a lighter sounding one - "Born to die" > "Paradise", "Ultraviolence" > "Honeymoon".
I hope the album will be a bit more uptempo than UV (but not too chart friendly)!

MORE BORN TO DIE-ISH????????!!! FUUUUUCKKKK YAAASSSSS! I loved that Era wayy more than Ultraviolence. Dont get me wrong. I loved the album in its own light, but BTD was better in MY opinion.
 
 
Maybe its going to be about the Honeymoon stage of love. Because she said this album is going to be more like BTD and Paradise, maybe its pre-Ultraviolence. So its about all the happy before all the bad like Jim hitting her(even tho it felt like a kiss). Or about after all that and everything was good again once she found someone new. Idk. I'm excited tho.

3 albums in and i'm happy to see she's a versatile artist. I thought we would get 3 BTD albums by now, which is fine, i love that stuff, but she's shifted here and there and mixed it up a little which has been good i think. I love that she has enough balls to do something like Ultraviolence after the amount of success she had during the BTD era, she could have played it really safe and just made something that would sell millions, but she stuck to her guns and did what she wanted, lots of respect for that.
 
Sounds like the next album may be a more return to the lush movie style production we saw with her previous albums, which after Ultraviolence i'm hungry for. I hadn't listened to UV for a few months and played it the other day, it really is a fantastic album, so so good, but Big Eyes has really made me excited for her to tread more familiar territyo this year. I can't wait, she's been very consistent for me music wise, so far she hasn't disappointed me, so i expect her next album to be good.

New album is titled Honeymoon and is "similar in style to Born to Die and Paradise". Lana covers the song "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" on it. The album is more "noirish" than Ultraviolence. Nine songs have been written for the album, four of which "the production is perfect; I'm looking for a few more songs to tie together".
"I Can Fly" was adapted for Big Eyes - she had originally written (and made?) a version of it, but then changed the lyrics to match Margaret Keane's story.

I pray she makes an album more similar to Born To Die to be honest. I like Ultraviolence but I like Born To Die more so there's one reason I want it but another is she will probably be given more money for promo, so the flashy videos will come back which I have missed so much from this era, and hopefully we will get TV/Radio promo too.

Definitely. I can see it and I can hear it. I'm working on a new record now, and I have this one song, "Music to Watch Boys To." The title lends itself to a visual of shadows of men passing by, this girl's eyes, her face. I can definitely see things.
 
I DONT think ya know how excited I am! Lol But yasss that title tho! And the fact that she's not forgetting about it. I mean with her there's no telling when it'll come out. But its exciting to hear news about it.

I'm hoping that since she's decided to do something new every album or whatever that she goes back to having some hip hop tones again. Far fetched dream but I loved born to die. Maybe she'll have a unreleased Florida Kilos feel for the next album... or maybe she'd even do a soft and slow album like bloozy(bluesy). I dont know. I'm just excited period. I cant get enough.
 
I'm okay with her subject matter. In fact I love it, because it's soo storytelling like. You guys cant just expect her to change how she writes that's kinda set in stone really.
