I mean those songs have a bunch of somewhat jazz chords and use a violin (only in MDM tho, Without You doesn’t use jazz chords) but it’s not like they sound like jazz standard songs (all the singers you mentioned sing jazz standards) The drums are very different from jazz drums and the audio effects/trap beats are definitely new I think Lana sound sounds what people think jazz sounds like lol

lana's music is so tied to that specific period that i don't think BTD would happen or even exist in the first place today lana's music was not dated... born to die specifically is just dream pop with trap beats

No the Lungs anniversary edition was announced a few months prior to the release I remember pre ordering it on Amazon I think it's likely that she'll release the 10th anniversary edition for Ceremonials but with the vinyl shortage that there is right now maybe we'll have to wait

these calculations would be correct if her songs had a constant rise in streams but they don't, there's usually a spike right after it comes out, and this spike grows bigger the more she is famous so obviously arcadia would have a bigger number of streams per day than idk summertime sadness, but it doesn't mean arcadia is more popular

I really really REALLY hope for scab and plaster and miss y on the 10th anniversary but IDK lately she doesn't care about anything at all so she'll prob just release more sweatpants like she did 2 years ago and call it a day

I never said she should stop using autotune, she can’t sing so she has to use autotune and it’s fine What I said is, the autotune effect that she has been using since N1A doesn’t work with the commercial pop sound she wants to have for this next album and IMO she should ditch it
