We weren’t talking about SALES but about albums not being long lasting, and Billie after her EP, which I admit was one of the best EP of the decade, has been all about the money and 0 about making long lasting albums… her singles are incredibly bland and boring and she’s just looking for a check, same way she did with all her merch over priced merch Taylor is an outlier cause, unlike most successful artists, she actually cares about her fans and gives them what they want, and more importantly keeps her promises Also, even 10+ years in her career, she still works hard on her albums, and carefully thinks about EVERY detail Compare her to Katy Perry, who was even more famous than her at one point. After PRISM, Katy literally dropped the ball and now she’s selling shoes What is Taylor doing? Re releasing her albums with 10 additional outtakes Like, this is huge. She’s consistently giving her fans what they want, and this is how she’s able to keep a strong fanbase going for almost 15 years at this point

I have a feeling Solar Power will be a flop at least commercially SP and SATNS are both underwhelming and have been criticized by her own fans too, let alone the fact that the GP probably doesn’t even know they exist i dont know if mood ring will change people’s minds but going by what we have I doubt it will overall this is shaping up to be unsuccessful at least commercially I hope the next songs are better

Yes it’s true ADIAML had potential but she squandered it all on the ballads… 5 ballads out of 10 songs is not feasible especially when the production is all the same, the melodies are recycled and the lyrics are downright bad She needed to have all the songs have the same production as ADIAML/Venus Fly Trap and maybe just one ballad or two to balance it out

EH and LF do not have a trademark sound cause they were written and produced by other people, so obviously she wasn't gonna include those since it's not "Marina"
