  1. Paradise is too underrated. I listened to Paradise in full (which is something I don't do that often) and just closed my eyes, late last night and WOW. It was an experience for sure. Paradise is MADE for listening late at night, I'd say. (Though Ride works any time imo, and American and Blue Velvet is not that night-ish to me). Yayo and Bel Air, oh sweet Bell Air child o'mine, does hit DIFFERENT at night. And I yet again re-discovered how fantastic American is. Especially those intro strings. Wow wow wow. The bridge of Ride is one of Lana's very best bridges. It's what made me even love Ride. And my favourite part of the song. (Yep, I didn't even like Ride at first.) It's MAGICAL. Unhinged. Obviously Lana made the RIGHT choice chosing Ride as the opener for this record.<3 Lana is amazing at doing covers. Blue Velvet is no exception. Sadly too underrated. It does, along with Yayo need more love. ADORE every single song on this album/EP (which is it haha?), but I will never be able to understand how Lana could even CREATE something like Gods And Monsters, Body Electric and Cola? Those three songs are SOMETHING else. Like those songs are their own kind of genre. (Along with Off To The Races imo!) I've said it before and I will do it again; Paradise is PERFECT. A masterpiece.
  2. To tell your opinions, weather they're negative or postitive e.g. about an album, does not eqaul being annoying. Everyone's got different opinions and hey! This is the unpopular Lana opinions thread, so feel free to express your unpopular thoughts! I like these three albums but I'm still interested in why you don't so I say expand it, if you want!
  3. Thank u Spotify, for this song on my Dicover Weekly! (THE STRINGS!!!!! The intro got me some real BTD/Paradise vibes woooowww)
  4. Sometimes I tend to forget between the rewatches of Pretty Little Liars, how plain CRUEL Alison used to be to others... especially to Toby... (and ofc for fucking blinding Jenna... etc). I feel so sorry for him. Just thinking about the scene when Spencer sees him crying on the street basically makes me cry... Though, Ali was really SUCH a good villain back then. When she stayed dead that is. And btw I don't care That Toby was "thankful" to Ali for getting him away from Jenna. It was all still so fucked up what she did to him before.

I love love love love those drums! Which I recently discovered are in the song lol???? Only took me... 7... years... (that's a long time wtf) to notice. And I've played this one a lot. The opening line is truly perfect. Stunning. Iconic. Legendary.
  11. so I listened to Violets For Roses and Beautiful (which are the two songs I've ranked lowest on BB) for the first time in forever and...... I felt... maybe they are not THAT bad? Not really the biggest fan of the lyrics but like... damn? Did I do these songs wrong in the past? edit: I thought I posted this in the Blue Banisters thread... sorry
  12. Didn't she leave her "overproduced" era already, kind of a long time ago, though? COCC, BB and not really NFR are neither cinematic or overproduced. But yup, you're most likely right. My wish is not even more stripped down music only (though, yeah some of her very best tracks are the stripped down ones, indeed) but it is the most realistic thing to happen.
  13. "(Do You Ever Feel Like A) Plastic Bag?", her new song to be released, which is very heavily sampled by Katy Perry's "Firework"
  14. yeah the atleast one Rick song per album pattern must not be broken!!
  15. a very unpopular opinion in our society I really don't enjoy Ari Aster's movies I'm soo sorry. They're not scary at all imo. Or good. The Excorsist and The Conjuring (the first one) are the best horror movies ever period
  16. 1. The Lord of the Rings trilogy 2. The Excorcist Evil (it's a Swedish movie from 2003, I really, really recommend watching it!) Fargo This is England 3. Harry Potter (even though I haven't watched the films in like... 8-9 years oops... but I'll still probably love them) Inglorious Basterds Disney's Hercules Disney's Tarzan The Incredibles Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy
  17. Trying to watch the new Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on HBO but like... I loved the og PLL (Aria is and was A btw.) (Except the absolute horrendous ending/the last two seasons thar truly ruined it all ofc lol) but this.. ain't it. Have finished the first episode and I just feel like... it's so goofy. Even though it's not meant to be that, at all(?). TOO camp. A parody of itself? Rewatched the old PLL pilot and THAT's some good shit. Will try to watch some more of the new show tho.
