Could Trans-Am be the name of one of the movies she's working on?

I've seen the actual video from this interview before, but I couldn't find it again. Here is a GIF of it though. An interviewer asked Marina and the Diamonds if there were any style icons that she looked up to or admired.

OMG that's getting into the "cruel" zone! I'm assuming that Chuck and Charlie and the rest of her family still call her Lizzy though, right? Or do they all respect her creativity and call her Lana? Imagine them all at Thanksgiving. There is that one aunt that is kind out of the loop with the rest of the family. She casually turns and speaks to Lana from across the table, to make some small chat. "Hey Lizzy, you still seeing that Jimmy guy? The one from the AA meeting?"

I feel like that would turn into a real big awkward moment.

Let me rephrase... a music video that Lana stars in instead of a bunch of women from latino soap operas and shoddy westerns. I feel like Born to Die, Blue Jeans, and Video Games just overshadow it a lot. Or at least to the average fan, not people that are really into Lana.

She spends enough time in England that she should be considered British artist by now. :mhm:

OFF TO THE RACES :badbitch: I just feel like this song isn't talked about much at all, and it's even an official release. I personally think it is one of the more original songs from Born to Die. Can we just take a moment to picture what a music video for this would have looked like?

The rawness is obviously what sticks out. The vocals kind of remind me of the vocals from Velvet Crowbar a bit. Lana always says she's a bad actor, but I can just picture the Oscar worthy angst she sings in this song. I wish there was a video of her recording the vocals for it.

I'm assuming the older blonde is probably just the wife of one of the bikers that they got to join in the video. I think I read somewhere that all the bikers already knew each other and rode together, so they were probably locals from the area. I can't remember the source though.

I find all this movie stuff funny since Lana is always claiming how she's a horrible actress, and would never want to be in movies.

I like how the end of the song sounds like it's a ambulance siren. How fitting since this song slayed me.

What happened to "I'm tired I'm feeling like I'm freaking crazy. I'm tired of driving till I see stars in my eyes" part? It's the best part of the song. Other than that, it was good.
