Spit my water out at seeing this randomly here. To be honest , I used to not like halsey at all because I thought she was taking Lanas sound, aesthetic, style, etc. And I thought she'd eventually fade out and become irrelevant but I'm quite stoked to see how far she's made it. Her voice isn't that great but just her over all personality and character is enough to take her where she needs to be. I'm not a fan of all her music but some of her songs are pretty dope. She's really making a name of herself which takes work. I still cringe at some of the Influences Lana has obvs had on her (Daddy fetish, BTD sound, pity party story, etc. ) I am not her biggest fan but at this point i respect her. rat

I'd really love to hear her cover 'Toxic' by Britney Spears but that's already been done by Melanie Martinez.. I was hoping Lana would've covered it first because the way Melanies cover is, is the way I'd expect Lanas to sound. I stil would want it to happen! Another one i can see her covering as one of her crazier, electric, sexier performances would be 'Welcome to the jungle' by Guns n Roses! I think she would have a blast with that one . Kind of would be similar to her Roadhouse rock cover! Would love to see her go crazy on the stage, screamin/laughin/moaning and shit. I heard she already covered it a while back but. . . . I can only dream to hear her cover it!

I think it's safe to say Lana looks bored of performing the same old shit sometimes. She already forgot lyrics to UV, She rolled her eyes last night, She's been letting fans sing more and more of her songs (lately), And last night she apparently forgot some lyrics of freak (we requested freak & she was like "I don't know half the words" & she did it & then she was like "you guys were right, we had to do that one"). . . . I think it's time the good sis switches it up.

Also- Does anyone know who exactly is involved in new music from Lana? Like through IG posts, tweets, hints, articles, candids, etc. Even other artists Lanas been affiliated with lately. That would give us a good start on what to expect for the upcoming material!

I'm really really not here for another Honeymoon Pt 2. I would really love something fresh though and if it's all these old producers keeping her sound the same then no thanks! It sounds kind of dumb but I def feel like staying in LA around the Same Ol is keeping the same sounds around..... like with Rick and Emile... I always thought her finding inspo by living else where would impact her sound.. Like if she lived in NYC again I feel like we would get a fresh sound with different beats and her matured voice. Honeymoon was nice but i felt like she didn't really put much effort in her voice.. It sounded really dulll............
